A hand towel warmer, not really designed for anything bigger.
I was looking for a way to dry towels, as i hate wet and damp towels. This seemed like a good idea.In the box you get an A4 sheet of instruction, the towel warmer and that is about it. You do get a towel tray frame, to put your towels in and to get them out. The towel warmer is very light and then I realised how small it is. 5L seems like a lot, but it should be noted more clearly it is only for hand towels or small dish towels, or for drying flannel in a home care setting with uv disinfection options. The actual unit is fairly easy to operate, two switches, one for heating, one for the uv lamp to disinfect. There is a drip tray underneath that needs to be removed as it collects water from the device during warming of the towels. In terms of a hotel or kitchen setting, its only capable of drying small towels, such as hand towels or kitchen towels used for drying dishes. I could just about squeeze in a normal sized towel and that was squashed inside. I like the simplicity of the unit, its ease of use, its uv mode, its maintain temperature mode, even one towel would have made me happy, sadly that was not the case.If you run a small kitchen or do home care and need to disinfect hand towels for customers/clients, this could be perfect, for anything else outside the size setting, (flannels can be dried and disinfected too), it does not have much usage.I kind of realised that this has more uses such as santising equipment, so could be used for beauty equipment, sterlising of scissors etc in a hairdressers or a nail salon. I also noted that in theory you could use this as a way to dry 3d prints, as some need a uv lamp to cure the resin after printing certain materials.Important note: putting dry towels in this device could damage it.Pros: tabletop design, uv disinfection of hand towels/flannels, very easy to use.Cons: too small for even 1 normal towel, drip tray needs to be emptied.
