Love this thing!!!! It kept my fish alive while I had a last-minute trip out of town. I was gone for a week and during that time I must have looked at the aquarium cam included with this feeder a hundred times. I love that you can set up your own feeding schedule or manually feed your fish while watching the camera. I am so glad I bought this and will use it every time I leave town.

I’ve owned several Hygger products in the past and have been very satisfied, so I was excited to try out this Smart Feeder with Camera. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been a mix of pros and cons, and it’s not quite the hassle-free solution I had hoped for.Pros:* Easy-to-Use App: The app is intuitive and makes programming the feeder straightforward. You can set as many feeding times as you need and adjust the portion size with ease.* Works with Flake Food: Despite the instructions advising against using flake food, I tested it with the larger impeller, and it worked perfectly—better than most other feeders I’ve tried.* Camera Performance: The included camera delivers a bright and clear image, even automatically switching to infrared when the lights go out. It’s a great way to monitor your tank while away.Cons:* Clamp Design: The feeder clamp is too small for aquariums with rims, making it unusable for most rimmed tanks. The alternative mounting option involves cutting a hole in your aquarium hood and attaching the mount with double-sided tape, which is not ideal for many users (myself included).* Permanent Camera Mounting: The camera attaches with double-sided tape, making it a permanent fixture unless you find a temporary solution, like taping it with Scotch tape as I did during testing.* No Power Supply Included: The feeder does not come with a power supply, requiring an additional purchase.Final Thoughts:If you own a rimless tank and don’t mind the permanent mounting options, this feeder could work well for you. It’s easy to program, works reliably (even with flake food), and the camera offers great visibility for monitoring your tank. However, for those with rimmed tanks or who prefer more flexible mounting options, this feeder may prove to be more trouble than it’s worth.

It works.Having said that I have an issue. I keep getting a "food shortage" message while the hopper is full!. Tried to contact Hygger but no support from them. The "virtual" assistant is not helping, just gets confused.

The challenge I had with other dispensers is that over time, moisture creeps in and gets the pellets stuck. I like that this addresses that issue. The app was easy to install and synced with the unit quickly. The app allows up to 10 feedings per day and the unit also has a manual feeding option. The 2K HD camera is an interesting plus. The image is bright and clear.

The mounting bracket doesn’t open very wide enough to get over the top edge of my tank. The only option was to stick it to the glass top which I did but didn’t want to.The instructions were unclear, imho. It does function well. I have a second tank to setup but I won’t be buying another one of these feeders

I love it! Sits on the back of my saltwater tank and I see my fish from work every time they're fed. Setup was easy, and the app is pretty straightforward. Just program your feeding times and forget about it! Puts out as much food as you need.
