This product came In clutch right before the texas freeze. It helped to keep our lines from freezing.We had water through the harshest freezes.We hit a low of 14 degrees and TG we still had running water.Definitely worth buying

Very pleased with the form and function of this well pressure tank heater jacket. The fit on my 26-gallon Well-X-Trol 202XL is perfect. Because it is form-fitting, be sure to order a size with a diameter that is about an inch greater than the tank body. The heater does not come with a built-in thermostat, so it will be heating constantly when plugged in, unless you add a standalone thermostat or a timer, as I did. A timer is a reliable and inexpensive option, especially if temperatures are above freezing during the day and you want to turn the heater off without having to unplug it. Whether you use the jacket as a permanent or temporary option, this is a great way to keep exposed tanks from freezing. After my purchase, I had a question about the heater jacket. I was pleased at how quickly the seller responded.

I wish it had been a little bigger. Pressure tank hasn't froze yet.

We bought this in hope of keeping our tank from freezing during unusually low temperatures. It provided the protection needed. Losing water on a farm makes life very difficult. It was easy to use and added another layer of protection.

Works well for basements that you need to worry about this, or pump houses, etc. I haven't tested it much below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, but it seems to work.
