Not simplified, just condensed and furnished for those who work in cross-cultural contexts
Excellent resource. It contains at least two-thirds of the verse notes from the original study bible, making it more compact. The introductions to each book examine the message in light of God's plan for the nations and where we find ourselves at this present time. There are helpful essays on various topics at the back.

A true blessing
With each hard copy purchased there are two on-line versions made available. One for the purchaser and one for someone in the world with a need for The Word. Thank you Crossway for an excellent Study Bible.

2016 ESV Text
The ESV text is the newest 2016 text. Good.Only 4-stars because the text from the opposite page bleed through the paper. Understandable though. There's also some bleeding in the prints.

Words to small to read
The bible is nice but the pages is thin and it's writing is too small I can't even read it ,need to get a larger printed one
