My wife faithfully has used the Illuminating Moisturizing Essence twice daily, but after 3-months use, has not noticed any improvement or change in her skin. She has always used a lotion on her face and likes how this lotion feels, but can't really tell a big difference between this designer lotion and cheaper options.

This is an amazing serum full of really good ingredients. I primarily use it on my chest to help prevent aging that can show once you you are over 35. It gives my skin a glow and helps the texture not appear or so rugged and old. It absorbs quickly and smells nice. Highly recommend.

Nice feel to this, and a larger than usual bottle. Not sure if algae has a scent, but this smells a bit piney. It's nice; doesn't last very long in case you don't like it. My one negative is that the pump squirts down and tends to make a mess.

I love applying this after oil cleansing, and I have to admit a lot of it is the smell. It's a lovely herbaceous frankincensey smell that I just can't get enough of! The essence absorbs quickly and leaves my skin ready for moisturizing oils (I'm an old lady, my skin loves oil!). This appealed to me not only for Skin Regimen’s reputation but for what looked to me like a different mix of ingredients that might benefit my skin which leans towards the dry side. The pump makes it easy to dispense without waste.What’s most important to me is that it is moisturizing and last for hours. Pretty much a full day. It is B certified which basically means products have a low carbon imprint and translates for me as better for environment and more natural products for the skin as well. I don’t see a clear list of ingredients.It is a larger bottle than most as you are getting over 3 1/4 oz.
