A enhanced introduction explaining where the data (descriptions and salary data) comes from and the date it was gathered (by the US Dept of Labor) would be helpful.

With all the different jobs this is a great book for young kids to look at and start thinking about what careers they would like to do.

This is a great book with basic information on a ton of different professions. A few typos here and there, but you can get past that. I would highly recommend it if you're trying to figure out what you would like to do in the future or if you have a child that is wanting to explore different avenues of employment as an adult. Highly recommend.

There are so many interesting job titles and positions in this book that something is bound to pique your interest! My only issue was that there were a few formatting issues that made it difficult to follow. Other than that, this is a great snapshot of jobs.

AQnytime this kind of changeing is provided in a book, references or a supported site for onlne current information should be provided.

You might think that you can find all this information yourself online, and that's probably true, but it's nice to have all of this information compiled into one handy book. The jobs are in alphabetical order. It gives you the hourly rate, annual salary, degree level required, and a description of the job. Nothing too fancy, but you can do your own research if you get more interested in any particular one. This book won't stand the test of time due to the economy always changing, but it's a good resource to have now if you need it.

This is a well organized guide to careers and the average income. I enjoyed the ease of use and the extra tidbits of information each category provides.
