Best looking pie - I should have taken a picture!
I used the heart shaped cookie cutter in graduated sizes for the crust on a 3-berry pie I baked for Father's day! So easy to use in all the sizes, I used the larger for the rim of the pie, then graually got to the middle with the smallest cutter. A little milk brushed on with sugar on top, and my pie baked up gorgeous. I loved how these were easy to cut through 3/8" rolled dough, and the little hearts released from cutters without losing shape. I am going to make sugar cookies next - my grandkids will love the shapes - fun project to do!

The little one loved it
Nothing much to say, they actually are smaller than the look in the pictures, but our little one loved it so no complains.

Cute and perfect
These are perfect for making mini cookies. If you sell cookies, these are a big help as people find the cookies so cute. Also I'm aware these cookies don't have 100% perfect edges but that is on me because I was impatient and didn't chill the cookie dough before baking. These cookie cutters do exactly what they're supposed to do :) For a great price and decent amount. Easy to clean too! Let it soak before washing if you have to.

Adorable! These are great tiny shapes for cutting out dough
I don't know what it is about normal items that are made in a tiny format, but they are always just so adorable! These are no different. I am unsure of how I will use these in real-life applications since they are far smaller than I imagined when I ordered them, but I am sure I'll figure out something. The only reason I gave this 4 stars rather than 5 is that the container that holds these cutters is so difficult to open that my arthritic hands almost cannot accomplish the feat. Even my son, who has no issues with his hands, had a hard time opening it for me. I had hoped that would only be because it was the first time opening it, but it appears that it will forever be difficult to open. At any rate, I just need to figure out what I will use them for now because they are going to make adorable shapes for pie crusts, pastries, and any number of things!

So versatile!
We made Grinch cookies. I could not find any red heart candy. Long story, short I ordered these and red gum drops. We sliced the gumdrops and sugared them, then used the small heart to cut out the shapes. Then I made a pecan pie and decorated the edges with the floral cutout. No pix. I imagine a whole new world in my cooking and baking life: Decorations for cookies, appetizers, canapes!

Nearly the right shapes?
I didn't get these for cookies, and I bet most people who get to this review will understand that. I got these for polymer clay. With THAT in mind I will continue my review! So these cutters are made by folding sheet/strip steel. The steel is usually put in a small press and the angles are formed where required along the strip to produce the desired shape. This can be done by machine or by hand. Then the strips are cut and these were tack welded in one spot each; riveting is also an option.I think the complex designs like the stars were done by machine because they are very precise and well formed with the ends meeting evenly. Some of the "simpler" shapes I believe were hand formed. The rectangles don't all have the same proportions, some of the other shapes look kind of off, and more than one cutter has sharp metal sticking a bit out because the edges didn't line up properly and the tack weld was still placed so the strip wasn't wasted. This is also what caused the wonky shapes- torqued strips/improper angles. So yes, you get what you pay for. I was really only looking for the small circles, and maybe the other basic shapes (squares, triangles, maybe ovals or rectangles) but it may be fun to play with the different shapes to see what they can be used for. Just be careful with use and cleaning because of the edges. Clay sticks to them really well (obviously). I'd use q-tips, new children's toothbrushes, baby bottle nipple brushes, or straw brushes to clean them; whatever you have in your small crevice and tool cleaning kit (if you're a crafter and don't have such a thing- shame on you; you need a separate set of stuff to clean your tiny things!).

Cooking cutters for Felting
Thanks so much for the set of cookie cutters. I love the variety of shapes and sizes. Actually, I am on a very low carb eating plan for the rest of my life, unfortunately as I am addicted to sugar. My baking days are over. I plan to use these cutters for felting! They make great templates and are easy to hold in place while pushing the felting needles through the cutters and making a design!
