Great pie!
When I received this unit the bottom element was not working. I loosened the middle screw and indeed the connection had come apart. I refastened and now this unit is perfect. It works great, perfect pies every time. The recipe for the pizza crust is also very good. Definitely recommend this product.⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Great pizza
Good pizza. Better than the oven in that the top cooks well.I tried an extra thin frozen pizza and cooked for four minutes. 800 degrees on bottom 450 degrees on top.My only issue is that when pre-heating the oven I turned the handles of the pizza stone inward so the rubber on the handles burned up. I was distracted because my 401k has been crashing due to the Trump tarriffs.Turn the pizza stone handked handles out!

stay away from this!
i used this once, followed all instructions, and was left with this mess on the pizza stone. since you can't spray it or wash it, we tried the damp cloth and even a magic eraser after the cloth didn't work.this is not a product that i could ever use twice, it is stained beyond cleaning.

Fun New Appliance
I've always been interested in purchasing a pizza oven and am enjoying this product so far. I have yet to make my own dough but plan to in the near future. This far, I've been using premade refrigerated pizza dough from Trader Joe's and it really has worked out very well for our first pizzas. The heat level claims it should reach 800f but I have used my infrared temperature gun and find that it falls short of 800f and more realistically only 726-750. This didn't seem to be an issue andmy pizzas still came out looking and tasting great. I had some serious issues trying to use the wooden peel/paddle it came with and ended up pretty much destroying my uncooked pizza trying to slide it off the peel, even after using a significant amount of flour to prevent sticking. I found that using corn meal is a must to get your pizza off the peel. I also ended up buying a real metal pizza peel and that works 10x better, but you still have to spread a lot of corn meal all over the peel. Be careful if you use neopolitan type dough because it will puff up and burn because the dough rises directly up into the upper heating element, which creates smoke. Cooking speed is surprisingly fast although the recipe states it should cook for six minutes, but the magic time for me has been 8 minutes. Very easy to use, with only two knobs for upper and lower heating elements. I found that 800f on the top and bottom worked best for me. Excellent quality and size. It can accommodate a 12" pizza at the maximum size. The pizza stone works wonderful but very hard to clean and any burnt sauce or toppings stains are permanent. Attractive exterior finish and made well. My only complaint is that I highly recommend buying a different metal pizza peel and using cornmeal instead of flour to prevent sticking. Other than that, this is a great product.

great kitchen gadget
First off, I absolutely love this appliance. With four people still in our household who all like different toppings on our pizza, we long ago gave up on frozen pizza and just started making our own. This handy pizza maker makes it super easy for everyone in our household to get the perfect pizza made to order each and every time. There are separate temperature controls for the top and bottom, so you get a more evenly cooked pizza without the usual problems of burnt toppings with undercooked crust. It works really well and is a great addition to anyone who loves pizza, or kitchen gadgets in general. It has a window so you can monitor the cooking of the pizza, and it cleans up fairly easily. Just be sure to give it enough time to cool before cleaning. It's also a lot larger than I thought it was going to be. I was thinking personal sized pizzas, but this can easily cook a medium sized pizza. All in all, this is a great little kitchen appliance, perfect for anyone who loves cooking their only personalized pizzas.

Compact pizza maker for 10" pies
This pizza oven is interesting and depending on your kitchen set up it may or may not be worth the effort. Before you cook any food in this pizza oven I would recommend heating it up the maximum temperature to burn off any chemical spells or coatings. Open a window and run a fan to ventilate the odors. Then you can use for cooking.I could not get the oven to reach 800°F even after heating for 25 minutes. I checked the temperature with an IR thermometer and the highest it read was 643°F. Also this appliance should not be used by young children as it gets very hot to the touch.I need to experiment more to dial in the upper and lower temperatures as each is set by a separate dial. There is not a lot of information in the manual about using different heat settings. Just one that mentions using 400°F for the upper and 800°F for the lower to crisp the bottom crust while cooking the toppings. The bottom of the pizza maker has suction feet that keep it securely in place and prevent it sliding around.I normally cook pizza in my Breville countertop oven with a pizza stone and they come out great. I can make a 13” pizza with a thin or thick crust and I can also proof the dough in the Breville so I am split on whether or not this is a duplicate appliance. It specifically states not to use it outdoors which would be a great use for this now that the weather is warming up. The other complaint is that you are limited not only to the diameter of the pizza (about 10”) but also the height. If you want to do a deep dish crust with lots of toppings it may be too tall for this appliance. If you cook a lot of frozen pizzas for one then it may come in handy.I wish the instruction manual had information on other uses for this device as I do not like to devote kitchen space to single task devices. Can you use it for pies? Can you cook in a pan on top of the stone? Calzones? Empanadas?
