This is a really nice looking and solid package box. While the side wood slats are rather thin, I don't think it would be a piece of cake to simply kick in the sides to steal the packages. At a minimum, it looks sturdy, and if I were a package thief, I would look elsewhere before trying to bust into this thing.Although others have said assembly was easy and the instructions say it should take 30 minutes, I took me nearly 2 hours solo. There are a few instructions that are simply wrong so I had to redo a couple of steps and spent a good amount of time re-reading sections to try to figure which parts I should use for the wrongly illustrated ones on the instructions.While the box itself is quite sturdy, the moving parts are poorly designed and it's here where it's clear they cut corners to cut costs. I'm pessimistic about how long before the lid assembly falls apart. As others have mentioned, the lid doesn't fully close which limits its ability to protect packages from the rain (and looks junky).Lastly, the lock has tiny digits that are really hard to read if you have any trouble with reading vision, and when its in the lock position, the numbers are upside down, compounding the problem.

Received faster than expected. Box was heavy so automatically thought it was going to be durable. My last $50 package delivery box was damaged by Texas winds even though I had 40lbs in dumbbells in the bottom, the winds snapped the lid right off.Bought this and paid $70 in shipping (jeez). But yes arrived quickly so I’m thankful for that. Read reviews and seemed to be pretty good.Instructions were thorough. I soloed the build so it took some time. I even added a motion light to the inside for our delivery folk who often show up after 10pm or before 6am. Once it was complete I was happy with the look. The look only.Pros: it looks great. Instructions were easy to follow. Code is easy to program. Frame is solid. It’s heavy and doubt the winds I deal with will move it around. It has balancing screws to adjust for uneven ground. Hardware is top notch.Cons: Although it can be secured, a 10 y/o can put their foot through it and steal your packages, the wood is as thin as cardboard. The lid will not shut. Even though I loosed the shocks and the hinges the lid will not settle. It is not waterproof, even if the lid shut completely, the lid will still allow water to come in if you get rains like we do in Texas.All in all, ask yourself if you want security, weatherproof, convenience, or something that looks good. If you find all of the above at an acceptable price, I think you found it.

Assembly was slow, and I needed another person to help at a couple points. Instructions were fairly clear. Product looks good, but doesn't feel very durable, like I could easily kick in the side of it to get what's inside. Also, the lid isn't heavy enough to fully engage the hydraulics, so it sits open 3-4 inches on the front. Overall, it works as a package theft deterrent, but won't prevent anyone who is okay with destroying property.

Well made, metal and wood construction so better theft avoidance. The wood will need to be sealed from weather.

Its a cheaply made piece of crap. The hinges for the door weren't even welded on correctly so the lid doesnt close properly. Even if the welds were correct, it still wouldnt stay shut because the struts used are also cheap and dont hold the lid closed. Multiple screws ended up stripping out during assembly. The wood is cheap and flimsy. The position and placement of the lock assembly makes no sense and its flimsy. Someone can easily stick their arm in the top door and pull packages out. I almost didnt buy this piece of crap but there are barely any non plastic options and it has the better esthetic of the selections, so I went against my betfer judgment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Every aspect of this thing is a cheaply made piece of crap.

Packed well, easy to assemble, works as intended.
