Once oiled with the oil supplied looked so good. This is a very good quality timber beam.The fixings were more than substantial for holding it to the wall, I only wished they gave you instructions on how to hang it. With help from YouTube, it was done in a flash. Would recommend this seller.

I am very disappointed with this item the pictures on here must be of a different beam! This is what arrived yes it is 3ft but the picture makes it look longer and wider. The beam I’m stuck with is not what I feel is advertised or shown in the picture it’s just a solid piece of wood I could of gone to bnq to get something like this! Not impressed nor would I of paid £55 for this. This beam is so thin there is no way you could get the ornaments on this as shown in the picture I would not recommend this product! I’ve not even tried to fit it to the wall it looks way more complicated than I thought no holes prepared ! Not worth money

Really pleased with the oak beam. Great quality and supplied with brackets, oil and good instructions. Fitted beam and was pleased, applied oil and it really finished the job off. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Expect the beam to be the right length but at least 1/2 inch shorter on the other measurements.. I.e 3” was actually 2.5 and 4” was actually 3.5.. disappointing

Excellent product, used as hearth mantle. Sets off the fireplace perfectly. A little awkward mounting on the pins but great value and would buy again if another one was needed.
