very nice woven nylon hose - problem is, Amazon suggested it to go with the pump I ordered- but they are NOT compatible - wrong fittings on both

The title of this hose says, "Industrial Hose Firefighter Hose." This is not an industrial hose and this would not be a good hose for a firefighter unless the firefighter needed it for a short time period.This hose is designed to be used lightly or seldomly.3 out of 5 stars.

This hose is GREAT. I have this hose to hook up to a water pump incase of wildfires. It is very well built and comes with brass CAM lock Ends to connect. It could also be used arond a construction site or someone with property. I would recommend this hose!

Got this for an eventual fire water pump that I intend to get to hook up to a water tank for the back of a truck to provide additional support for our local rural neighborhood's occasional grass wildfires. It is winter time now and there hasn't been a day to actually fill it with water yet because of freezing weather, but the hose material looks very strong and the brass fittings seem perfectly adequate. I expect this hose will perform admirably as expected and don't see or feel anything that would lead to it failing under pressure. It also folds down into a pretty compact space when empty considering it's length and size. This is the kind of design that leaks out little water droplets thru the canvas, so be aware of that. The hose is not defective it just isn't designed to be fully waterproof, so maybe not a good option for any kind of sewage or dirty water application.

The hose came with a hole in it. Water leaks out and sprays everywhere. This says the production quality is not very good. Look elsewhere is what id recommend.

My son-in-law is a firefighter, and I saw a really neat craft idea in a magazine that uses a fire hose to make an American flag, which is why I got this. However, I also asked said son-in-law if the hose itself is good quality and whether it is a good value for the price as a fire hose, and he said that it absolutely is. Five stars all the way!
