My son loves to sing and perform on stage, but can often have some difficulty projecting his voice. This little item is absolutely perfect for his needs. No, you’ll not get super professional ‘arena-style’ audio, in fact if I have to be picky in any way, it can sometimes sound a little ‘tinny’, especially at high volume. It’s fully portable and runs as a standalone unit, meaning it doesn’t need plugging into a PA system. The recharge function is also a bonus; we save a fortune on batteries. The best part of this unit is the belt/shoulder strap and headset mic, which allows him to keep his hands free (so he’s able to spontaneously break out into some dance moves to compliment his singing!!!). For the price, it’s a brilliant piece of kit and great value for money.

This arrives boxed with the charger cable included. It has some charge so it's ready to test out of the box. Make sure to turn the speaker away from the mic when you turn it on as it will squeal at you otherwise.The volume is easy to control via a dial - the loudest setting could be a bit louder, I think, but for the small size it does still do a good job. It does amplify and is good for indoors - eg the school hall. Outdoors it helps, but the sound is still quite 'directional' so when it was tested for the fire drill in the playground, the people directly in front could hear well, but those further away still couldn't hear quite as clearly (it is a large school with around 600 children so they do cover a large area!), but it is definitely still better than trying to just use a voice. You do need to make sure the mic is pointed directly at you, and is positioned closely, to get the best out of it.The fact that it is small and light and can be grabbed when the fire alarm goes off is ideal as it's immediately available when needed. It will have other uses - eg sports day and the school fairs, so for the low price I think we'll get a lot out of it.

Easy to assemble. I haven't used it yet but plan to use it provide volume for my weak voice when I make presentations. The sound quality is a bit tinny or hissy, but I put the speaker into the pocket on my sweater and that improved the sound. I wont be using it very often, so probably good value, it was not expensive.

Very easy to use

This is a great portable amplifier, perfect for open meetings and conferences. In the box, you get the main amplifier which is rechargeable via a USB cable, supplied and a headset containing the microphone.In the description, it states that and I quote : （Please note: the parcel you receive for this product will not include the charging head）I'm not sure if the headset wasn't supposed to be included, but they have included the headset, unless I have misunderstood what a charging head is.It's very easy to operate, especially with the volume control being at the correct position in order for you to adjust dynamically to your preference.If you are planning to host, even if in a wedding and need to get your voice heard, this won't disappoint.The good thing about this is that you can also play music by switching modes on the top. My unit did come flat though as it was left on, the volume knob turns it on and off and had to recharge this. As it so happens, it was on full charge in less than 3 hours.
