As amazing and authentic it can get
As you many know or may not know, wakame served at most restaurants is brightly green and almost has the same taste everywhere you try it! Ever wondered why? They put food colouring and preservatives and then freeze it and ship it to restaurants. That's why it tastes the same and has that unusual neon green color that seaweed never has at its natural form. However this product I bought is the real thing. They dry it and then you simply rehydrate it with 38 degrees Celcius water and after it absorbs it all,it looks and tastes authentic! Just add your dressing and you have the healthiest and most delicious salad! This is the best brand I have tried! Only con would be the fact that the majority of the dried wakame available in the market comes in little broken pieces and not in long "spaghetti" like form like it normally is in the sea.The probably break them apart before drying them...

Excellent seaweed!
This is excellent seaweed, really easy to use - just soak in cold water for a few minutes, or add to any dish. Very healthy, great value.

excellent flavouring
This product is excellent for flavouring vegetable stews. I grind up a small amount in a mortar and pestle, which is then added to the pot before it begins to simmer. Previously I used arame, but wakame is so much cheaper and a pack lasts far longer.
