I bought these to provide a direct ‘quick connect’ for jumper cables to MY truck! I hard-wired one of these connectors to my battery, the other, I put on the one end of my jumper cables. I cut about three feet of the one end of the cables, and connected another of these connectors to that piece of cables - that way, I can connect it to the jumper cables and let someone borrow them if needed! The connection to MY truck makes it INCREDIBLY easy to jump anyone!

I recently got a Bluetti charger 1 to install in my vehicle to be able to charge my power station while on the go. The only problem is that I wanted to be able completely remove it for everyday driving. These SB50 receptacles allowed me to install a quick plug and unplug feature directly into my Tacoma with a nice clean looking outlet with a safety cover. When not in use the cover prevents accidental shorts and keep the outlet clean. It makes it extremely convenient to install and remove the unit in a snap. I have it all setup in one vehicle and what is great about the two pack is that I can install the second outlet in another vehicle and not need to buy a second DC charger as I can easily move it from one vehicle to the next. The only heads up you need to know about is that the install location needs to be very flat or the cover door will not latch properly. I added an extra washer under the outlet and fixed my issue since the panel I installed on had a very slight curve in it. Outside of that everything needed came with the kit and went in very nicely and looks great. Would recommend for sure to make your DC to DC charge box just as portable as the power station

These are a little hard to use another manufacturer. They do not directly crossover to the grey-colored ones

Im gonna have to rate this a 3 did not fit the anderson 50 amp on my charger very well infact i cant put the plugs completely together. The contact points did meet and charge ok but not being able to plug it together like its supose to be to lock is not that favorable.

My main complaint would be that there are no instructions in the packaging, so I had to come back to the Amazon page. Also saying that that "A" side needs to go "up" is a bit ambiguous. You need to look at the picture carefully to make sure you get the orientation right.But they work!
