Energy boost
Loved the gel aqua, easier to process than normal gel and doesn't require you to take on water, nice not to have to carry a bottle through a long run. It did not feel like you had to take on board as many gels to maintain performance.

Go to fueling for long cycles
Easy to consume (especially the aqua variant), no gut issues, easily stowed/accessed from anywhere. These really keep you going as long as you remember to take them! Set a timer on long activities if you need to. Only minor complaint is that they are sometimes hard to open, especially one handed with teeth, and you might end up a bit sticky!

Great value for money.
I bought these as I'm a keen hockey player, and these were on special offer on Amazon prime day with great value for money. I preferred these over the gel version as they are easier to consume and leave less of a sticky residue in the mouth but has the same amount of caffeine and glucose in them. The strength of the caffeine in glucose in the aqua gel is perfect for a little boost in energy before and in the middle of my hockey game.

They do a good job
I used these on a two consecutive 20+miles hikes on a summer day. Without using these types of gels, I’d normally be ravenously hungry by the end of the dayBut using these, i wasn’t, and I had the energy to keep going. They are a good energy boost, and don’t taste enough of anything to be offensive to the tasteI got these in a sale, and considering how much they stop me eating so much at the end of the day, they are great value for money tooThe only downside, is the tube is leftover (unlike energy bloks, or energy supplements that contain multiple in a bottle etc). So always make sure you use these near a bin, or carry a small ziplock. If they leak, they’ll make everything they touch sticky
