Received this yesterday on time.I like it just fine for the money.However, I am using it with a CD set to learn Morse code. I'm only hearing a voice and Morse code tones.The important points for me are clarity and ease to go back to review. The sound is clear. I expect that music will be acceptable quality. Back / forward functions are quick and easy.It was retail $39, on sale $28.We must not compare it to a larger player that has more room for components and speakers. For personal player I am pleased.I am impressed with the quality of the ear buds. Pretty good compared to others. I only use it for audiobooks. Like that it remembers where you last played it. Battery life is good. Would buy again.

The CD player is cheap. Fwd, pause, rewind buttons don't work at all. I'm dissapointed that I have to waste my time now to return it after waiting a week to get it.

Sturdy and easy to operate. Using it to listen to Language-learning CDs. Able to use while power-walking and on the train. Not a fan of the earphones it comes with but will accommodate other standard earphones. No issues with skipping. Very good CD player. Sturdier than some of the others on Amazon. Recommend highly. Fair price.

I had a Sony Walkman in the early eighties, this remains me of that expect the Walkman was for cassettes this is for CDs.
