Since when does aluminum rust? Poor welds on the clamps, and was a hassle to actually get fit to the vehicle. Otherwise, its a decent storage option over the high end brands

This item looks great, feels well built, and seems solid. The install on this, however, was a huge pain. The top brackets don't come loose enough to give you the room you need to slide it on the drip rails. In fact, the fit was so tight even at the loosest possible setting that it bunched up the protective rubber and made it impossible to slide on. I had to completely remove the top brackets and remount it that way. Not ideal. The bottom brackets are not much better. There are two different ones, but they aren't marked on which goes where. Either way, one side will bolt up fine, but the other side is too far and the bolts are too short. I had to go buy longer bolts to get it to grab. Then there's the table adjustment. Seems simple enough, just unscrew a hex head bolt and move the wire. However, you can't get the back nut off to do so and there isn't much room for a finger or a wrench. I read another review where the guy said he used needle nose plyers, I will try that. All that said, based on what else is on the market, I do think this is a good buy. I just wish it was easier to install.

The media could not be loaded. Got this the other day. Excited to get it installed. Upon opening box. Which arrived with some damage. I was worried the rack would be. Surprised it wasn't that bad. Just some scuff. Really surprised there was no foam padding on the sides to protect it in shipping. That needs to be addressed. Next up was to get it installed. I have a roof rack installed to could not slide the top of the rack into place. Had to take it apart to install. Got the top bolted in loosely so i could install the lower brackets. You need to read the directions. The lower brackets have to be installed in the correct location. Otherwise it wont work. With that said. The lower inner mount that the brackets bolt into need to be welded in place. The hardware all needs to be replaced with better bolts. They wont last a winter. Ive included a picture of what i will get to replace them. Other major issue is the door wont line up with the mounting holes. The adjustable for the table is already at its max. Even when i took it off. It still wont line up. Thats a fail.Overall. Its got huge potential. Just needs to more quality control and fix the minor issues and increase the packaging to protect it in shipping. I cant give it a 5 star with these issues. Price point is excellent though. I would definitely buy it again with updated product.

Really love how this looks and the functionality of it. I love the table feature to it, and I can’t wait to use when we go camping this upcoming weekend.It was a little challenging to install it because I already had a roof rack on the roof, so I had to unscrew the top screws all the way to the max to be able to place it on the ridges. Pro tip: for the bottom brackets, make sure you screw the bottom screws all the way in before you screw the top screws. You won’t be able to screw the top screws until the bottom screws are all the way in. Follow the instructions and you will be OK. To adjust the table I had to use needle nose pliers to hold the nut from the sides so I could unscrew the bolt. It’s a little tricky, but not that hard.

Several bolts were messed up… Allen style head that wasn’t machined properly. Had to go buy more from hardware store. Also powder coating very thin and blemishes in several areas.

Product was ok but it came with broken screws

This is exactly what I am looking for, easy to install, stable, tightly fit, and looks great. Since I have a roof rack also rely on the rain gutter, but this panel mount and roof rack mount are not causing any spacing issue, they can be mounted next to each other. I haven’t mounted any recovery tracking board nor rotapax fuel can yet, but I felt confident that panel is able to handle those addon without any issue, specially this is panel is very stable so no rattle noise which unlike the other molly panel mount that could cause rattle noise. If we are talking improvement, I felt that the knob to open and close the panel, if such knob can be replaced with some kind of quick release piece, that will be perfect.
