Q: Can the diffuser be removed easily if the lights need replacing or do I need to replace everything ?

Installing the diffuser is more difficult than removing it. The diffuser fits pretty tight in the aluminum channel. But yes, You can remove it very easily.

Q: If used under kitchen cabinets, can you see the light dots on shiny counter? Does cover affect brightness of lights?

We have a shiny counter and I installed these with a Hue Lightstrip. We can see the individual dots from the lights on the counter. They are a little less definate but for sure they can be seen. They do not take much away from the brightness at all. That said, we installed these channels and lights only weeks ago and I am very happy with the result. They look professional and it seems that they will last a long time. From what I learned you need a deeper channel and denser filter to make the dots more defused.

My spares measure 18.034mm or .710 inch

Q: Can these be used outside in a driveway? Or will they break?
