After ordering a different bean-to-cup machine and being HUGELY disappointed in terms of functionality, usability and fit for purpose, I returned it and ordered this Siemens unit instead.What a complete WORLD of difference.I have had a De'Longhi bean-to-cup machine for many years and I thought it was wonderful, but it needed replacing and I bought a Metilla b2c machine but it refused to do anything that involved a recipe needing milk. Upon returning it to Amazon I came across this Siemens one.I have had a Siemens washing machine and dryer for nearly 20 years with zero flaws or issues. I also own a Siemens oven/grill combo and a Siemens smart gas hob, all flawless.But, I never realised that Siemens make coffee machines.I am so happy that they do, as they ALWAYS make amazing, reliable and super-well constructed products.They are not cheap, but they are MORE than worth the outlay because they are simply brilliant and beyond reliable.I am so exceedingly happy with this EQ700 in so many ways - it's gorgeous, it makes coffee that blows your mind, it's quiet, it's got a MASSIVE water tank, it's so clever, it's just amazing.

I purchased this product despite reading the reviews from others who had warned that the milk did not heat very well. I assumed because the overall rating was high, that perhaps some machines had defaults - sounded reasonable. We received the coffee maker on Thursday with great excitement. It was my husbands christmas present, and it did take a while to put it together. He loves Cappuccinos and that was the first thing he made. It was really dissapointing that it was luke warm. A few more bits of research, a call to Siemens and it became obvious that this is a design issue rather than an individual machine fault. We lodged the return and dropped it back to the post office on Friday. However, Amazons policy for issuing refunds is that the machine must be back with them and it can take 2 - 4 weeks to process. This is a very outdated, non customer friendly policy. Sadly, no Christmas present and no refund for a month. It seems very unfair and I would encourage anyone reading this to think twice about making an expensive purchase when other reviewers call out a potential issue. Probably best to go try it out in a store first. thanks for reading. Hopefully this helps someone else NOT make the same mistake :)

I have had this coffee maker a couple of months now.All in all it's pretty good. The selection of coffees is great. And the app is very good.The froth on most coffees is ok. Not quite as frothy as my Delonghi bean to cup was. But then we kept having problems with it. So hopefully we won't with this one.However it doesn't make a frothy latte. Or cafe au last.Which is disappointing. Hence 4 stars instead of 5.Coffees are hot enough, I have mine set on max.Also to clean the milk system you either need the milk jug empty, or a carton adapter.I bought a spare milk jug and use that. It was cheaper than the adapter. And I don't have to keep emptying the milk out.

Lovely coffee with out Hesitate. Just perfect coffee Always. But I don’t know how long will it take working perfect.So far Amazing experience 💯

My husband picked this machine as he loves his coffee.I don't see it before it arrived. First thing, the milk container is triangular, so cleaning into the corners isn't straightforward.Secondly unless you position the milk conditioner exactly right you end up with steam everywhere but the milk. There is a knack to lining the container up to the machine, which is done blind as it goes into the side of the machine.I like the bean to cup and the ability to make different kinds of coffee, but the issues outlined above would make me unable to recommend this machine.

Used the machine 4 times, called to say it has broken was told someone would come and collect from me but instead I have to send it off and be charged to do so. Not acceptable for the price of the machine.

I do love this machine. it's quick, it's quieter than other machines I have ownded.My only negative point and the reason i only gave it 4 stars is because of the temperature. I have it set on max temp, but it's not very hot. It's great if you want an espresso to drink immediately after making. But if you want a larger drink that you can put down for a few mins and still be hot, you'll be disappointed. I wish manufacturers would allow us to set the temp by temperature in degrees, rather than a preset temp.)

First 2 pictures show settings where cup warmer should be. Great machine however its false advertising as it states cup warmer, i contacted Siemens themselves and they said this model does not contain cup warmer, ive contacted amazon they said they would remove it as its false advertising. However with 10% refund im still happy with overall purchase. Shame about the cup warmer.
