So much fun for the kids!
This is a cool little toy, basically a mini drone (without a camera, of course). Easy to assemble, and my five-year-old grandson can operate it with ease. A fun toy for kids, though we'll keep it strictly outdoors. (I don't want it crashing into stuff inside the house!) Great gift for kids from 5-8.

Not for young kids and quirky, but definitely fun for the price
I wasn't expecting much for the price. At first I thought it was broke but there is teeny tiny power switch above the plug hold on dinosaur. It took maybe 5 minutes to get the hang of and was flying it around inside house without issue. I even started to get decent at landing. Battery seemed to last maybe 15-20 minutes.Outside this thing took on a mind of its own. Pressed up for maybe 2 seconds and it took off and kept going, at least 50 feet into the air despite me trying to stop it, then eventually cut out and crash landed on the roof of 2 story house and then the ground. Took a while to even find it but shockingly only 1 blade snapped off and had to find it on the roof. The dinosaur was still intact and the blade snapped right back on. Honestly was about as big of a crash as you'd encounter with this toy. Be patient and give it a chance, was fun for us.

Not easy to fly
First, the cues cause one to think that the toy seems to come in a "boy" version (dinosaur) and a "girl" version (unicorn). The controller has only two dimensions - up/down and left/right. The only thing you need to know, is that it is almost impossible to get this toy to hover. Once it rises, it tends to accelerate or decelerate in its ascent. Then if you give it a direction, it shoots off without much hope of reversing or turning. It's almost unflyable, and I'm an adult with a lot of RC experience. And this is described as "Easy to fly". And is listed for 8 year olds. I don't think it's likely you will find an 8 year old with any success in flying it. Getting it into the air is easy, but that's all. In an environment with tall grass, and no wind, you might be able to accumulate enough experience with it to have a little fun with it before breaking, but it's a challenge.

I can't even give it 1 star
The media could not be loaded. This is a horrible toy that will be frustrating for your child. I was thinking that since its was a 2 channel that it might be easier to fly. Its worst. From my POV, not having forward and backwards I hit myself many times. Landing well doesn’t do that it crashes. The feet aren’t big enough to “land” on. The controls seem sensitive, however it’s more that they aren’t sensitive, and they require large adjustments to find the sweet spot. You can see in the video I had it flying, then had to make a slight change and it was rough. If you want to start your kids on a rc helicopter, get a syma s107. Its not a flying dinosaur but they will have 100 times more fun and its durable.

fun for sure
My daughter absolutely loves this dinosaur drone, and it’s been a blast watching her enjoy it. The design is so fun and unique—it really stands out from other drones. The controls are a bit unconventional, but she’s getting the hang of it and doesn’t seem to mind. It’s entertaining for her, and that’s what matters most to me. Overall, it’s a fun toy that keeps her engaged, and I’d definitely recommend it for any young dino enthusiast!

Not very reliable
I got this small drone copter for my 7 year old grandson. I am an avid advanced drone pilot, so i am trying to introduce him to the sport. I unboxed this and put in the 3 AAA batteries into the controller and charged up the little dinosaur copter. After charging, I had a hard time finding the on/off switch as it is super tiny and very hard to see. No where near the size that a small child would be able to use on their own. Off to the first flight, it was very hard to control, it slammed into the ceiling and popped off 2 props on the first attempt. So we decided to take it in the yard to give him more space and hopefully avoid another crash. Boy was I wrong, once it got airborne, it was near impossible to keep a a constant height or to keep it from flying out of control to the right. on the 3rd attempt, it slammed into the ground and split the head in half exposing the electronics, and one of the feet broke completely off. so we got less than 10 minutes use out of this copter and now its complete junk and in the trash can. Avoid this thing like Covid 19 !! HORRIBLE

it helps pass time
At first glance, the design of the helicopter flying dinosaur is eye-catching. With its vibrant colors and realistic dinosaur detailing, it draws in kids and adults who are captivated by prehistoric creatures. The materials used in its construction are light yet reasonably durable, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor flights. However, as with many toys, some parts may be more fragile than others, so gentle handling is recommended. Depending on usage, you can expect about 8-12 minutes of flight time on a full charge, which is relatively standard but may leave some kids wanting more. The good news is that recharging is usually a quick process, allowing for multiple flights in a day, provided you're ready to wait a bit between charges. Whether as a gift for a birthday or just a treat for your little dinosaur enthusiast, this flying dinosaur will definitely add a dash of adventure to playtime.
