Informative and fun! I found this book perfect for keeping my nephew engaged in his social studies class with the word searches!

This is a comprehensive workbook for geography. The new guided notes are excellent. Students read the article and then have to complete two pages of guided notes that bring them through the important parts of the article - definitions, true and false, matching, fill in the blank. The reflection questions really bring the facts and the students opinions and ideas together. And of course the kiddos love the crosswords and word searches. This book is huge, each chapter has ten pages of content. Great job on this one.

Not only is this workbook comprehensive; covering our past, exploring our future and everything in between but, it’s presented in an easy-to-absorb format with great articles, review questions, vocabulary and so much more. I love that it works well for self-motivated students as well as those who learn best with a teaching companion.

This workbook has been good for introducing and reviewing different topics. The guided notes have helped struggling students retain the reading, and the crosswords are good for reinforcing important terms.
