Great design, highly functional for small jobs.
Good weight for shaping silver plate 1 mm or less. It is a simple hammer with a fairly smooth face and a widening bit at the back. The wood is solid, perhaps a hardwood. The mold design is unique but functional after the hammer head.was cast and milled. I am proud to include this hammer in my working collection.

Most excellent
Well made, well assembled, properly faced, and even pinned to the handle.

Nice!
The Swiss make great cheese, great chocolate but it is not well known that they also make great hammers!

Head is loose on handle.
Nice litte jewelry hammer, but I have a problem with the head being loose on the handle. For this price I was expecting a little better quality.

I should have spent more
I wish I would have just spent a little more for better quality. This is very small and cheaply made and I suspect it's not going to hold up to my annealed copper when trying to do fold formed pieces. The handle almost feels like it's made out of balsa wood. The hammer itself is extremely lightweight which to me, isn't a good sign. The connection between the handle and the hammer head is loose fitting and the hammer head wobbles and is very small. Maybe I'll be surprised but I really don't think this hammer is going to hold up to what I'm wanting to do. Next time I will spend more to get better quality. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Exactly What I Needed
I was doing some work inside a pipe organ chest and needed to hammer in a very tiny nail inside the cramped confines of said chest. One of the guys that was working with me pulled out a tiny hammer that he uses for the task. It works great for the job, so I knew I needed to buy one of my own. He told me that they were hard to find and relatively expensive. He purchased his through an online supplier of jeweler's tools and supplies. Turns out, Amazon has an identical tool for a fraction of the cost. So, if you need a tiny hammer for tiny stuff, this is a great tool. Well worth the money.

Wouldn’t recommend or buy again.
Arrived with a loose head. I fixed with a “toothpick wedge” as a temporary solution. There is a groove on the head that marks the metal, but as a texture hammer it gives interest. The chisel or cross peen side is a bit uneven, but again if I wanted a texturing hammer maybe that’s ok. It’s a pretty delicate hammer, only 2 ounces. I paid $9— i got what I paid for.
