The media could not be loaded. Looking for motion detector which did not need a hub and could be integrated into Alexa routine; this replaced a more expensive motion detector with this as a trial.Was attracted to these as specification / price appeared good.These units are rechargeable as well as battery capable which is a bonus at the price point.Used in an Alexa routine without a hub to turn on a set of lights when motion detected at night. This sensor has a great field of view its sensitivity is pretty good and it has a very small lag time.Install in the device app first, my Alexa app then picked it up without further intervention then I was able to incorporate in to a routine turning on chosen smart device.I’ll see how long a charge lasts but after around a week app is still showing as battery highIf used without a smart routine, you can get the app to send an alarm to your phone or tablet. (I believe this is incurs a costOverall I’m very happy with this device which has multiple uses. I would definitely recommend

The Smart Tuya PIR Motion Sensor arrived the next day.The motion sensor was well packed and came with fittings /batteries/charging cable and instructions.After putting the supplied batteries (you can also power it via the usb cable supplied)in I fixed it to the wall with the included fittings and I than downloaded the app which I connected it to.It worked very well and you can connect it to Alexa and then you can control smart plugs /smart lights etc.You will receive a notification when the motion sensor is triggered.It also has a detection range of 8 metres and it has a range of 128 degrees.We are pleased with this motion sensor and how useful it is for us.

Absolutely terrible, if it works you have all ready walked in the area and left, in my case it's a hallway to a toilet, I walk to toilet, use the toilet and walk back then it turns lights on! Waste of time, wish I had not thrown packaging away as I would be sending it back otherwise

I bought this knowing it was an indoor sensor but hoping it would work in my porch where it is protected from the weather. I tested it indoors first to make sure it connected and worked as I wanted in smartlife, it did so I mounted it in the porch. For some reason it triggers all the time with no movement in daylight or nighttime so it really is unsuitable for outdoors. Shame, can't return as I drilled a couple more mounting holes in the base as couldn't find any screws small enough but then found the supplied tiny screws in the box. Will have to find another use for it. Update: the low battery warnings started after only a day or two !! So would need to be powered from USB if I ever use it.
