Best choice all around!
I am beyond excited for this purchase. We live in a crazy home and help animals in need, so our pet family is quite large!We have always struggled with pet dander and the dust the follows, and this brand has had some of the best ratings, not to mention the washable filter!!

Bought a second X5 after a few years.
The pet pad on the top didn't come with😕(top is the pet version in pictures)Finer pre-filter on the pet versionGenerating electrodes are the sameThe main filter has better support between fins on the pet version not sure if it's worth the extra 100 dollars. ( This could just be an update design as I bought the other x5 2 years ago).Not sure if the pet version is really an upgrade from the original. They do hold up an filter well. Easy to clean compared to other brands.

Annoying to clean
Cleaning process is difficult, long and tedious and some parts can be washed with water while other parts will break if they are wet. It would be quicker, cheaper, and cleaner to just use a HEPA filter air purifier. The front LED is very informative though.
