I am a backyard mechanic I don't charge friends or family for things and I'm not afraid of working on anything. Over a period of 20 years I've learned a lot about air conditioning. I even have my own vacuum system for pumping out the old freon.You would not believe how many times I have come across where the valve stem enters the system and that to be the issue. I have electrical devices that will tell me where the freons coming from and I also do the UV die. Every time I would run into this problem I would run to one of the big box stores for cars. Of course they only sell these pieces and a four pack or three pack. This kit gives you a lot more and even comes with an extra tool. For me it would be extra since I probably got a half a dozen of these laying around taking free with other stems that I have bought. I love having one box that has everything in it.This is good for the DIY and the professional mechanic.

I like the number of included cores and the variety of core types this kit includes. When you run out, just refill the case with your needed cores and you now have an easy to find and carry storage.

I recently picked up a 3rd gen Ram pickup with dead AC. After a lot of component replacement, I was down to one leak: a giant sized Schraeder valve that wasn't readily available. I found this kit contained that giant valve along with a large selection of other sizes. The core tool is a bonus and the case is gold: it prevents little plastic baggies or pill bottles of valve cores finding their way to the bottom of a toolbox or bag.So far, they've proved workable quality and haven't leaked. It's a good kit for the automotive enthusiast to keep on hand for maintenance and replacement when doing maintenance.
