I use this fabric for bag making. Its got a good thickness and is sturdy for bags that will get a lot of wear. The instructions say not to iron it, but it gets some pretty severe creases and lines from folding. I've found a low heat with a dry iron will work well to get the fabric looking good again without damaging it. It held up well to an embroidery hoop and hand embroidery as well. I got to see the water resistance when washing off the embroidery stencil; the water beads up and runs off initially, but given enough time will soak the outer fabric. The inner backing is somewhat waxy, though, and so should protect whatever is inside. I will definitely be using this again.

I used this fabric to construct a waterproof cover for some outdoor camping items. Next, I'm going to make a grill cover. Easy to sew.

The fabric itself seems like it will work for my application. The problem I have is that it was folded, not rolled. It will take more time to get the wrinkles out than to cover the bench. Invest in shipping tubes people. Id happily pay a dollar or two more.

Although I was able to sew this fabric with a domestic machine, this fabric is thicker than what I thought it would be. The thickness caused a lot of bulkiness in the seams. I would purchase this item again, however, I would definitely use it for different projects, especially items that need waterproof materials.

Bought 2 yards based on good reviews. While the material feels and looks good, the packaging caused damage that is not repairable, on both packages. check out in the pictures how the creases from folding causes the material to discolor permanently. Sad that this had such great promise, but it'll be going back for a refund.
