good quality fabric. one side is more shiny silk, the other more of a matte silk which i like. i use it as a photo background and looks gorgeous. super white rather than an off white cream colour. great product.

This is not wearable fabric. In fact it is not textile. It’s a synthetic plastic that is so stiff it cannot be used on human skin. I wouldn’t even put it on my animals skin. It would be considered torture! It is so awful that when the center is held it doesn’t fall as real fabric would. It stays like cardboard. SHAME ON THIS VENDOR FOR LABELING THIS GARBAGE AS SATIN!!!

Silk Fabric by The Yard (B0CZDMWLBC)Feels more like satin, luxurious and smooth.Its surprising that such a small package contains such a good amount of fabric. Unfolding the material, you find it is very thin but very strong too and so extremely lightweight.The colour is pure black and looks amazing. The material is great to work with and is easy to machine.I've used this to make a table skirt and it does look very professionally made because of the quality of the material.

I previously wrote a review which has not been include??The flow/drape to the fabric indicates weight but that is not what I saw/felt when it arrived. It does not have the weight/flexibility that the photos show - note the yellow dress photo. I bought this as it appeared to be like the sharkskin-type fabric I already have and love. What arrived was different from the photo. However as it is thick enough fabric for an underskirt, I will keep it on this occasion- otherwise I would have returned it. I think other buyers should be aware of what is being sent by the seller.

Good fabric, but if you purchase multiple quantity (eg 2 as in my case) you get 2 x 1 yard pieces, not 1 piece 2 yards long.No good if your project requires a piece greater than 60 inches which is the width of the fabric.

Used as a cloth to wipe up a mess

Used for lining bags. Looks great but as other reviews said quite hard to work with as it frays so much and catches on sewing machine teeth.

I ordered 4 meters, the fabric came in 4 individual 1 metre pieces, thankfully I can join them and it won't be noticable as the fabric is to be used as an underskirt for a prom outfit, with a double chiffon overlay.
