A Budget Streamer Alternative
I ordered the Arylic S10+ to see how it compares to my Wiim streamers. For the price, this presents a compelling alternative. After a couple of weeks of use, I can confidently say that this device gets most things right with its impressive value and features.Out of the box, you are provided with most of what you need. The streamer is relatively small, sitting between the Wiim Mini and Wiim Pro in size. On the back, you will find a reasonable IO including an RJ45 jack. At the price point, this is a welcome feature not found on the competing Wiim Mini. Another added feature is a USB port. While I have not personally used this feature, it is something not available on any other streamers I own. This may be useful for those who hold their media files on a drive, and not on a network-attached device. One final accessory of note is the provided remote control. Competing devices require the remote to be purchased as an accessory, or as part of a bundle. The Arylic provides you with a remote inbox which is a very nice addition. One caveat to this is that it is an IR remote, and not a Bluetooth remote as can be purchased from competitors. This may be superfluous as you will likely be using the downloadable app for full functionality. The App (4STREAM) is almost identical to the Wiim App that I was familiar with. The S10+ even shows up in the Wiim APP and can be controlled from within the APP. That being said, the adjustability of the s10+ is much less robust than the competing streamers. Not in a detrimental way necessarily, but it is noticeable. The fact that the app follows similar protocols is a welcome sight and makes operating the streamer very convenient. Overall, I am happy with the app as it is very familiar to me.There are two potential sound outputs. One via a 3.5mm jack, and the other output via Toslink (optical) cable. For the best sound quality, Arylic recommends using the optical out which was the method I used. If you do use optical, ensure that it goes into a DAC that is capable of reclocking the signal as jitter over optical can be an issue. The sound out of the streamer regardless of output was good. It functioned best when redirected to my SMSL DAC, but it was more than acceptable for casual listening when using more modest gear. I do wish that a COAX output was provided as it would eliminate most of the issues with jitter. One final gripe. I do wish they provided more technical specs for the product. Knowing what DAC chip is being used as well as distortion numbers is essential information for audio enthusiasts and would help greatly for gear-pairing purposes. In summary, the S10+ presents a compelling value option in the steaming audio space. If you have a large personal music collection, or stream music to your stereo consistently, then I can highly recommend this device. It gets more than enough right to make it one of the best values under one hundred dollars and should be on any budget-minded audiophile's shortlist.

Works great
I wanted an easier to use audio streamer and this one has a surprisingly clean design and sounds adequately good. I've only been using the 3.5mm output but the optical out port is available if I decide to run a DAC into some nicer speakers but for the time being it's routed to a small set of self powered speakers. The app is easy to use but only time will tell if it holds up since many app-dependent devices tend to die after the app is taken down or is broken and abandoned with updates.

Its, ok, I guess
This is a fine device if you just need something to dump Spotify or some other audio streaming service to a pair of speakers, but you probably already have some stuff around the house that will do the job just as well. If not, this will do. The biggest problem I have is that it runs Ariplay 1 and not 2 - which is just inadequate in the market. You can have multiroom audio if you have a bunch of these devices and use their app - but the ENTIRE POINT of smart home platforms like AriPlay 2 (or whatever else you use) it to integrate different products from many manufacturers because no one wants to completely replace everything they own to use some niche 3rd party app/platform.

Disappointing Performance, Connectivity Issues
The Arylic S10+ AirPlay Audio Receiver promised a seamless multiroom audio experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The setup process was complicated, and I experienced frequent connectivity issues with both WiFi and Bluetooth. The sound quality was decent when it worked, but the constant dropouts and buffering made it frustrating to use. For the price, I expected a more reliable and user-friendly device.

Good easy to use streaming device for beginning audio streamers or second home
If you don't know why you need an audio streaming device, you probably don't actually need one. If you already know why you need an audio streaming device, you probably already have one. That's OK, this one is good enough to start out with and cheap enough to add for a vacation home. The major issue with this device is the lack of support for Apple Music. When you try to play your Apple Music from your subscription, you get an error message that the song is protected by DRM. The workaround is to use AirPlay to stream to the device.I had a number of issues setting this up, but most users won't encounter these issues. Apparently the TOSLINK input on my receiver is defective, so I wasn't able to connect using an optical connection, limiting the audio resolution. I also have multiple WiFi networks due to my own stupidity, so I didn't see the S10+ on my network at first. I have the S10+ connected via Ethernet, but you need to have your mobile device on the same network to run the AStream app to control the S10+.At first the sound seemed echoed, which was odd because the PC sound didn't have that issue although connected to the same receiver. Apparently, I had some digital processing going on due to connecting the S10+ to the TV input on my receiver.Once I got things sorted out, I was able to run the TuneIn app to listen to a local radio station, the AirPlay connection to listen to my Apple Music, the Bluetooth connection to listen to some MP3s, and the Amazon Music app to listen to some Amazon radio. You'll notice that all of these things can be accomplished without this app by connecting your PC to your receiver, so this isn't vital. The advantage is that this is a low powered device that can provide superior sound than your mobile device can natively, and you can leave your PC off while doing so. I haven't decided how I'm going to use this yet, but I'll probably install the app on an old iPad or other old tablet and use that as a controller for the S10+Oh, BTW, you'll need two AAA batteries for the remote controller.
