The active ingredient, Vecollal, that this contains has been studied -- the effects are actually evidence-based. It worked to improve skin elasticity in several studies which can be found by searching PubMed. I am a healthcare provider, and this is definitely a point in its favor from my perspective. The taste is also a pleasant orange flavor -- and I enjoy it hot or cold dissolved in water, or with a shot of unsweetened cranberry juice. It is quite sweet with stevia, so I don't need to add any sweetener. I have only recently begun to include this in my daily ritual, so I will do another review in one or two months regarding any results I personally have noticed.

I'd prefer they put more powder in or use a smaller container.If used as directed it will last one month.The expiration date on mine (THANK YOU for not printing it on the bottom!) is Jun 2026.The powder has a scent more like collagen than orange, but it does have an orange flavor.Lately I've been wondering when powder supplement manufacturers are going to realize the scoop doesn't need a reinforced handle? The powder is light enough and the plastic strong enough that it will work with just a flat handle. That will keep powder from getting stuck in the nooks and crannies and then randomly free-falling when it's right over something you don't want it to free-fall on (such as my keyboard =) Also, making the scoop rounded will make the powder come out easier.I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says non-GMO. The product page also says manufactured in the USA.I look into the supplement companies I use because I've come across so many questionable ones. Their phone number is on the bottle. The product page says a certificate of analysis is available for every one of their supplement, which is rare to see. Their lifeextension site is functional and informative, and they have been rated the #1 catalog/internet merchant among supplement users multiple times by ConsumerLab. They offer a certificate of analysis for all of their products upon request. They also have a number on their site that you can call to get a free wellness consultation, and another number for customer service.I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, and I have liked a number of Life Extension products, but this one is kind of in the middle. I'm not a fan of the silica, which many companies say they need to use, but the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to, and they could have done a better job on the flavor. I’ve had great results with other powders, usually noticing improvements in my skin and hair relatively quickly, so I did expect this one might take a bit longer to show effects since it works differently.After a month of use, however, I haven’t noticed any changes. And honestly, the taste alone is enough to make me stop. I genuinely dread drinking it each day. It’s not just the orange flavor; it has a strong, medicine-like aftertaste that’s hard to get past. I have a strong stomach & can usually handle odd flavors (if I feel the benefits are worth it), but this one is beyond my tolerance. It’s nearly identical to orange-flavored G****'s headache powder. Imagine mixing that in water and drinking it—it’s rough!Mixing it with orange juice helps slightly, but not enough to make it worthwhile, especially since other powders I’ve used are unflavored and much easier to drink. The initial smell of the powder is also quite off-putting. Once mixed with water though, it only has a mild orange aroma. As for texture, I’ll give it credit, it dissolves well without being gritty or clumpy. I haven’t had any stomach upset (beyond the queasiness from the flavor) or other negative effects.If you can get past the taste and are looking for a vegan option, this might still be a worthwhile choice. I’m giving it 3 stars for its smooth texture, carefully chosen ingredients, and unique formula aimed at supporting natural collagen production. It seems to be a quality product overall, but unfortunately, the flavor is just too overpowering for me. Ultimately, it's a firm no from me.

Takes time (as does all collagen use) and works very well - value apparent on facial skin.

The artificial taste was too much, so I only tried it twice, then tossed it. I can't attest to how well it does or does not work.

I’ve used various Life Extensions products in the past, and love the company as a whole! This particular product is not my favorite, just because of the orange flavor. It is a little too fake for my preference. However, I have been able to mix it with some orange juice and get it down. I do believe this supplement has good benefits! Just cannot get past the flavor.

for aging skin this product seems to work and I have only used it for 2 days.
