Best Facial Care on the Planet
I used to use Kiehl's and have tried a TON of other brands via an Allure Box membership, but Clark's the THE BEST skincare I've ever used. This and the Jasmine Vital Cream in tandem have seriously regressed my face. I look for sales, because it's pricey... but it's incredible. I use retinol at night and put these over it and wake up in the morning super hydrated. I LOVE CLARK'S BOTANICALS.

Uneven quality
My first purchase of this product was a good experience. This latest purchase was not. The texture and scent are different and it stings my face.

It stings!
I would not buy this again. It burns/stings unless I put on a very, very small amount. That's what I'm doing until this runs out, as I didn't want to throw it away--too expensive!

Smoothing marine cream
I have used this cream for a few weeks now, and I like it. It is nice and light weight, which is great for my oily skin. Heavier creams tend to make me break out, but this didn't do that. I have been using it on both my face and neck, and saw a slight reduction in the lines in my neck, which is my problem area. You do get quite a bit of the cream in a nice large container.

Hydrating and exfoliating glycolic acid cream
Clark’s Botanicals Smoothing Marine Cream is very effective at purifying pores and smoothing skin texture. I have been using it a few weeks in the a.m. because I use retinol at night. I had to ramp up gradually to daily use because I was adding glycolic acid to my routine. With the first few uses, I felt a tingling effect until my skin became tolerant. What I like most is it creates a smooth texture with some more of a matte appearance vs. shine. Yet it’s still is deeply hydrating, and I feel like it locks in my morning serums. I definitely see a difference in the appearance of my pores, more refined. This cream spreads easily and absorbs quickly. It’s a “marine” cream in that it contains algae extract which is emollient, soothing, and full of nutrients. It also has marine derived collagen. The scent Is unusual but I do not find it offensive because I am not crazy about heavy floral scents or added perfume. Is a more of a natural earthy scent, a blend of lemon, patchouli and sandalwood oils. It is vegan, made from clean ingredients and cruelty free. I like that it is manufactured in the US, but was developed in Belgium. The jar is a generous 2 ounces that will last me a long time, a good thing because it is pricey.A highly effective anti-aging glycolic acid cream that I am happy to add to my routine. Highly recommend!

Lightweight moisturizer, great skin smoothing.
This is a nice lightweight moisturizer that is good for normal to oily skin (but I have sensitive skin and it's great for me too). It dries very rapidly, no sticky feeling, and no powdery residue or whiteness.I had a small amount of stinging the first few times I used it, but that went away pretty fast. My skin is highly sensitive though, so I suspect that is just me.I have been using it morning and night for two weeks now and I am quite happy with the appearance of my skin. Apparently the marine ingredients are really effective because my pores look smaller than they have practically ever!Yes, it is expensive. But, the jar is a large one and a small dollop will cover a lot of ground on your face. So I think the cost will be spread out over a few months and it's really a lot more manageable that way.

Thumbs down
This arrived in a sealed box. There's a plastic lid under the cover. The cream is very dense almost like a butter, but one that doesn't want to spread or absorb or even moisturize very easily. It almost feels like it wants to sit heavily on the skin and would turn gummy as it ages. But it doesn't all that heavy, moisturizing, or tacky. It's more matte and doesn't make my skin feel as soft and smooth as other products. There's a light, kind of odd smell. The label was put over the ingredients so I couldn't see if fragrance was added. And it's $125.
