I got this for homebrew. For transferring between fermentation vessels.The hosing is true to size and has good stretch to it. The hose is very very soft so i wouldn't recommend it for high pressure fitting or pumps. But for low pressure fittings and pumps it works a treat.Silicone houses are also more hygienic and easier to clean than rubber so they are ideal for homebrew.I used it for racking wine and also pouring a hot must from a boiler to a fermentation vessel. Very flexible and "rubbery" tubing, not quite what I was expecting but not a problem and was able to do everything I required.You expect just a rubber or place hose but being silicon, they are much more flexible, don't kink nearly so easily and are great for twisting around corners.A good connection can be made on the ends with the right connectors and I've used this for siphoning water and for draining my water butt in the garden. I also used it (once) when my dad and I drained the oil on the car, with a funnel on one end, into the oil catcher. It's not something I'd choose to use it for but it was all I had to hand. It did the job and I cleaned it out afterwards.Less likely to perish over time than ordinary rubber and good for warmer fluids.
