The Child’s Smart Phone arrived in a super cute blue box that had characters on it so of course my boys knew it was for them😂 The 3 yr old new instantly that it was a phone and got soooo excited! After putting it all together- the cover, pulling the plastic tab so it would work and putting the lanyard on😳 Oh my gosh🤦🏻‍♀️ That was the hardest thing I think I’ve done all day🙃 The phone is cute and has a soft shell case. It feels like silicone plastic and the 15 month old takes it on & off:) It’s your typical phone only all jazzed up and cute to make it appealing to the little ones. There’s games that will help with school age kids and pre k too. Alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, memory matching… there’s fun for age 3-10. One thing I didn’t know is it doesn’t come with a SIM card. I just assumed it did but nope- wasn’t in the box. That’s one of the biggest reasons I picked this phone for the kids- is the ability to pre-program parents/grandparents=emergency contacts for the kids. The way it described it is they couldn’t just call rando numbers- only ones the parents programmed into the phone for the child.🤷🏻‍♀️ That part of the phone we haven’t used yet as I haven’t gotten a SIM card yet. I will update this review if it doesn’t work or is complete opposite of what was described here. The screen is big enough for their fingers and the colors are vibrant. They can record funny little audio messages - they loved playing and listening to the recording back of their voices. They made movies and funny faces lol They are already hip to the selfies😊 The 3yr old was explaining it to the 15 month old and they were bonding and having a blast making silly selfies. So cute… the technology seems pretty great. No stuttering of the type/text or on video or audio playback. It changes apps easily without being bogged down. All in all it seems like a decent cellphone that has learning apps as well as fun/creativity apps. I’m excited to see the features so they will be able to call home or gramma/emergency contacts if needed.

I don’t know how this got good reviews because it feels very cheap and it has a full keypad and not just the ability to call programmed numbers. In fact it does not even make a call. I thought it was too good to be true that you just insert a SIM card and it calls- no carrier needed. This phone might be ok for a 2-4 year old to play with. I got it for the sole purpose of my child to make calls to only people on the call list. A waste of money and let down for him at Christmas.

Graphics r terrible. Don’t waste ur money. I got a more affordable one from temu that works very well and has more functionality. I will say it’s at least compact n has a cute case.

I ordered the phone for Christmas and wanted to find a sim card before it arrived. The phone needs a 2g sim card. T-mobile store didn’t sell them but she advised to try the traveler’s sim. I looked on Amazon and found the Tello sim card for 2$ that says in the description that it supports 2g. When I received the card and inserted it in the phone it did not work because I had to insert the IMEI to activate and this phone doesn’t have one. So I inserted the sim in my iPhone, activated the card and since i was connected to wifi I was able to go to Tello website and bought the cheapest plan (100 minuted 5$ per month, no data). The sim didn’t make calls from my iphone because it said I should change settings which I didn’t want to do. So I put back the sim in the toy phone and it worked! It does make phone call, it took a few minutes after we turned it on to work but it did and now we have been using it for a week with no problems. Just note that it does not really show signal on the top left of the screen, sometimes just one or 2 lines but most of the time no lines as if there was no signal.

Amazing!!! I ordered this smartphone for my six-year-old daughter, and she is satisfied.The touch screen responds very well, has many excellent functions, and it is possible to use it as a mobile phone and call some select numbers.High quality, easy to use, and beautiful! Great price, perfect gift!

not worth the money you waste here

The Nino card I bought separately did not work with phone. I had to connect with my family plan. Purchased in December 2023 Xmas gift and by February it stopped working. It doesn't charge with its original charger or any other charger. Unfortunate because it was helpful to connect w grandkids while it lasted. Note: it was well taken care off we bought an extra case and carrying purse.

This has more features to keep my 6 year old busy than I originally realized. It has a ton of cute games and many help with learning. She loves taking photos and using the calculator. The photos look nice. Very happy with all of the accessories that come with it. Recharges pretty quick and last longer than expected.
