...and it's a beautiful specimen with many adult and baby traps on it. I would suggest adding two more compressed moss blocks. Reading a book about their care and cultivation has been very beneficial. I feed mine freeze dried blood worms that I first reconstitute in water (to make digesting them easier). I usually feed a fresh trap a portion of one of these worms every two weeks. Be sure to keep soil most using distilled water. Tap water will slowly cause problems. Bright light is important. I keep mine under a grow light on a timer 12 hours per day.Very pleased with my latest acquisition!

A living venus fly trap was delivered with instructions and a terrarium with three venus fly trap seed starting peat pods but was missing the lid to the terrarium. I contacted the seller and a few days later the lid showed up. I'm very happy with everything and I think these guys are offering something cool for a good price. I waited until the end of March to order so the live plant could be shipped while still in it's dormant winter stage. It came and was very healthy. I do recommend people research the venus fly trap before ordering a kit and not being happy that it isn't "hunting" during winter when there aren't bugs for it to eat or enough sunlight to digest them. If you want to stick it in a window you have to wait until spring and summer to see it hunt. Otherwise you have to simulate the summer sunlight, humidity, and provide insects or flytrap food. These plants just react to the time of year so they can survive winters. I hope these sellers do well because they took care of my issue and as I said offer a great and very interesting hobby for a good price. I am ordering some of their other stuff when I get done writing this review. Thanks again

I got this little plant for a Little Shop of Horrors themed Christmas gift and it arrived in great condition! It is bright green and has multiple leaves on it. The directions for set up were clear and helpful. I highly recommend based on what I’ve seen so far!

Im fairly new to the plant scene. This is my 3rd plant buddy this year.. I have a Shameplant & Chamomile.Now.. im not sure if this drooping is due to its shipping and handling but overall it seems okay. There was a full black trap and per the directions, I removed it. I used distilled water to soak the soil and gently planted. Have it at a window to catch soms rays. Its beautiful and im very happy to have it.
