Great and affordable tool for painting
The media could not be loaded. Easy to use, my first attempt came out way better than expected, I was even in a rush to get it all painted quickly so painted all life’s at once. Used light cream brown for base, then darker brown, then a walnut stain, light sanding between coats, thin clear coat. I cut corners on mine to get done quickly, still think looks good and tools work well. Take your time and mess with the stroke/drag/ rock patterns, it will look amazing!!

play and experiment
Still getting the hang of faux wood grain, practicing on cardboard before i go full on with the workout room walls. Great price for such a useful little tool.

Great grain maker
Great for smaller wood grains to create a faux countertop. Light and easy to use after using a practice board to perfect a technique.

Took a minute to learn, great results!
It took a few practice runs to learn the technique (search YouTube, there are tons of how-to videos) and how much paint to use, but the results were pretty good! They ready to hold and use once you have the hang of it. The pictured "boards" are painted craft paper over foam core. An old toothbrush or paintbrush with help with cleaning the grooves. Good addition to a diy-er's tool kit.
