Good hydration, no irritation
I've been happy with the results of using this cream so far. The cream has a nice, smooth texture and feels very hydrating on my skin. I have sensitive skin, and I appreciate that this product doesn't cause any irritation. It does seem to leave my skin feeling smoother and more radiant, as advertised. I'm not sure if I can give it a full 5 stars, but I'm definitely happy with the hydration and overall feel of my skin.

Melasma Cream
I did not see a lot of changes for my dark spots but I know that it will take time, too. I like the smooth texture of the cream. I notice that my skin looks a little bit more hydrated.

Does Not Work!
It does not work at all. I've been using this product for at least three weeks, morning and evening, but no change. I still have the same dark brown spots and now these got worse. This product is very expensive, don't waste your money.

Not Impressed
I’ve been using the ABERA Melasma Cream for a few weeks now, and I’m really not seeing much of a difference. The cream itself feels thick and nice when applying, but it doesn’t absorb well at all. It leaves a bit of a white residue at first, kind of like sunscreen, which takes a while to fade. As for the dark spots, they haven’t budged an inch. I’ve followed the directions—morning and night—but nothing’s changed, and honestly, I’m feeling pretty disappointed. I’m not sure if the cream is even meant to be used all over your face, but that’s what I did, and it doesn’t feel great under makeup either. The jar is tiny for the price, and I’m really questioning if it’s worth it. Mine came badly assembled with the plastic threads of the lid breaking with just the slightest tightening motion when I shut it the first time. Having a nearly $70 product crumble in my hands wasn't a good feeling. As for the product inside, at this rate, it wouldn’t last more than two weeks if you’re using it twice a day. Even when I’ve focused it just on my spots, I haven’t seen any improvement. It’s moisturizing enough, but that’s about it, and it doesn't play well with makeup. If you're like me at all, you’ll need another moisturizer because this one doesn’t really do the job on its own, and at that point, you'll likely feel as greasy as I did trying it regularly! I don’t know if I’m missing something or if this cream just isn’t the miracle it’s marketed to be, but I’m not feeling impressed.

First time trying Vietnamese cosmetics
I’ve never tried any skincare products from Vietnam and I was really curious about this cream. It has lots of really interesting ingredients but also added perfume. The smell is nice, floral, but it might be a bit too strong if you don’t like scented face creams. I don’t have any sensitive skin so it didn’t bother me. The texture is something like whipped cream, it feels thick but it spreads easily. It does feel on heavier side for my mixed skin and it leaves white-ish layer on skin but after a bit of rubbing it goes away. It does feel nourishing and moisturizing but, as mentioned, on heavier side. When I applied my regular sunscreen on top it felt a bit too much. I’m not sure if this cream is actually supposed to be used on whole face or just on dark spots, I applied it all over my face but I didn’t really like how it felt under my foundation. The jar is really pretty but it’s very small (it’s like half of regular size face cream) so it wouldn’t last more than two weeks if it is used twice per day (per instructions) and that would make this cream really expensive. I guess if I just use it for my dark spots then it can last for half a year or more and then it would be good value for money, I’ll probably try that. From few applications I didn’t see any change in that department but I know that’s probably long term effect. Overall I’m not sure how I feel about this cream, the texture is ok, smell is nice but it definitely doesn’t feel like the best choice for my combination skin, it is probably better for dry skin.

Facial cream to treat melasma
Melasma is the appearance of dark or uneven spots on the skin. This cream is marketed as a treatment for melasma. The main ingredients in it are red ginseng, mushroom, and microalgae. The cream is thick and spreads easily. It feels similar to applying sunscreen. Initially it leaves a white tone on your skin but eventually it gets absorbed and becomes invisible.Because this container only has .7 ounces in it, it’s not practical for me to use it long enough to see results. The label suggests using it for 1-2 months twice a day before you can expect to see any improvement.I was not able to find any independent testing done on this product to verify the claims that it makes, nor could I find any research on creams with these ingredients being beneficial for melasma. You can judge for yourself if you think this might be a good product for you.The container that was shipped to me had a slightly loose cap and some of the cream spilled out and dried up. The rest of the cream inside the container was still in good condition. The manufacture date on the box was July 2023, which was 19 months prior to my receiving it. This seems like a long time to have the product in storage before shipping it out to customers. If you use this product, you will want to use a moisturizer as well as did not provide much moisturizing on its own.
