Absolutely fantastic!
Finally, I have time to show off my outdoor sunshade umbrella! It’s really big—large enough to provide shade and a cool spot for my friends when they come over to swim. The quality is excellent, very sturdy, and easy to install. Opening and closing the umbrella is effortless. The outdoor table and chairs I ordered haven’t arrived yet, so for now, I’ve just placed two outdoor sofas under it. But in fact, it’s big enough to cover an eight-person outdoor dining set. Absolutely fantastic!

Solid Privacy
Perfect for Patio Privacy. Shields from peering eyes from second floor windows belonging to neighbors. Setup took an hour, and filled the provided sand bags with sand from Home Depot for under 10 bucks. There was a small rip in one sand bag due to me moving it around with sand in it, which can be fixed with gorilla tape. Other than that, I am pretty happy with the cracking system and bought an umbrella cover for rain and days I’m not using it. Picture shows product not fully “erect”, but wanted to give an idea of what it looks like.

Sturdy but beige faded quickly
I ordered this last spring and used it from May to October last year, stored it in the garage over the winter, and put it back out in about March of this year. We use it over our outdoor dining table (rectangle, 81” x 38”) and it provides good shade for everyone seated around.Construction/sturdiness:I have no complaints... it is heavy (of course) and because of the weight and bulk, I have a difficult time moving it into/out of its spot in the table, but if I must, I can do it myself (I am 53 yo female, 5'3” and 115 lbs.). That really only needs to be done twice a year, so not a big deal, but it is easier if I wait for my husband to help. The umbrella arrived in good condition, and halfway through its second season of use, no parts have broken, bent or rusted.Ease of use:Also no complaints. It cranks open and closed smoothly. There is a pin that slides through the pole at the top so that the full weight of the raised umbrella doesn’t rest on whatever mechanism is used to raise and lower it… I have to stand on the table to use that, but I always do. If you’re having guests over, you might want to raise the umbrella before they get there so they don’t have the image of their hostess walking on the table in their minds.Weights needed:This is a huge umbrella and it could probably win America's Cup if you attached it to little boat. The sandbag assembly that came with it was ugly and took up too much space under the table that would otherwise be used by the chairs (when pushed in) or the feet of the people around the table. There is very little point in putting out a table umbrella if people can’t comfortably sit below it. I got rid of the freebie and instead use the metal part of an EliteShade 18.5” steel plate stand, supplemented with a Gravipod 14 Round umbrella weight base (the metal base also came with some sandbags that I didn't like) – the EliteShade has a very low profile on the ground and the gravipod is tall but leaves a lot more room for chair legs/human legs. The base and gravipod spent the winter outside under the patio table and are still in good condition.Umbrella rotation:I don’t know how this could be avoided. Yes, if the wind picks up then the umbrella rotates so that the long sides of the umbrella do not line up with the long sides of the table. One person can easily rotate it back, and if it is super windy outside, nobody really wants to be out there for a meal anyway, so I don’t worry about that.Fading:This is my one and only complaint. I ordered the beige and it faded pretty quickly. Full disclosure – our patio gets full sun, but I did not leave the umbrella raised when we weren't using the table. By the end of the first summer the beige had faded to a pale pinkish color that does NOT look pretty. I am now trying to figure out if I should try to use outdoor fabric paint spray and return it to beige or whether I should just replace it. If this umbrella came in white or cream (or with a Sunbrella canopy), I would buy it in a heartbeat but it doesn’t. They should provide a cover for the umbrella for when it isn’t in use… that would be a lot more practical than the free weight bags that you get instead.Something else to think about:If you eat outdoors after the sun has set and you leave this umbrella in the table, you will likely have to raise the umbrella to get it out of your way… It is large enough that it blocks eye contact and makes conversation awkward. If you do raise it after dark for the sake of conversation, you may need some lights for underneath. Those are easy enough to find, so not really a big problem in my opinion. You might also look into some light/fan combos if you live in a hot climate and/or want to make it more difficult for flies to land in the table area.

Awesome, great value, big and sturdy.
Love, love, love these umbrellas. Bought two. These are better quality in real life than the picture relay. They are hefty, sturdy and big. Awesome value for the price. I had looked at more expensive options, but was pleasantly surprised once I received these. Would recommend highly.

Covers my 8 seat table perfectly
Just set up this umbrella so I can’t say yet how durable it will be but it’s the perfect size for an 8 seat rectangular table! Looks great. Doesn’t feel cheap although the fabric is a thinner material. My only concern is the cover for the base. I can see that ripping very easily with people’s feet on there so my husband is going to build a wooden box that goes over it. But all In all - a great umbrella and exactly what I was looking for.

Durable umbrella!
Purchased this item in 2021, all things considered it has held up well. It was outside through rain and wind. After four years it is showing signs of wear. After this summer it may be time to say goodbye. Would recommend this purchase.

easy to assemble, good value, base not completely stable
To be clear, the base is stable when you fill with 135-150 lbs of sand, but the frame itself slides together on a "track". Unfortunately, the track does not have a bottom 'stopper' so it will slide completely off the corners if not sitting flat. Again, 99% of the time it is sitting flat, but if I had to pick up the base to move it, it will likely come part and have to be 're-slotted'.The umbrella is large (as advertised and looks good when expanded. The lever assembly seems sturdy/well made. Ive had it for one month, so the jury is out on how long it will last. I took the precautionary measures to use WD-40 on the screws that hold the umbrella in place, as I could quickly see some corrosion on the screws. And like most umbrellas, those screws will scratch the pole wihen tightening it down. I put WD-40 on that contact point as well, just to protect it.Overall, a good value for the price I paid.
