A bit on the expensive side
I ordered these two bags of 200g finely ground almonds primarily for baking. The almonds are very fine, so I decided against using them in my oatmeal. They have a rich flavour that enhances my baking; you can taste them in cakes without feeling their texture. However, I found them to generally be quite pricey, to such an extent that you may consider getting regular almonds and grounding them yourself.

Ground Almonds
As a Coeliac unable to eat gluten, I use ground Almonds quite a lot in cooking so these two bags are just the job.The best before date is only 9 months away, but as it comes as 2x smaller 200g bags, it helps keep them fresh once you start using them rather than one bigger bag.It does have a warning on the bag regarding possible traces of other nuts, gluten and sesame, presumably from possible packing contamination, but this shouldn't be an issue for me given the relative possible amounts.Other than that, they’re nice ground nuts.

"Tropgo" Ground Almonds 400g (2×200g packets)
Ground almonds are great for adding to cakes, puddings, biscuits, and an essential ingredient of marzipan. Tarts are also on the menu, I am thinking Bakewell, but Baklava is not out of the question either, although pistachio would be required. These "Tropgo" ground almonds have an expiry date of April 2025 but I find that most nuts, ground or otherwise, keep pretty much indefinitely in a glass container with an airtight lid. They do appear a little expensive however, especially when you can buy a 150g packet of ground almonds for 90p at Asda. Perhaps I will notice the difference in taste but at £22.48 per kg compared to Asda's £6.00 per kg, I think these "Tropgo" ground almonds will be a tough sell.

Great but a Little Pricey……
…..I really like this Brand - I have had their mixed nuts tub, absolutely delicious. We have a large family gathering next month, and my contribution is a few of my Bakewell tarts. I will be using these packets then. I have opened though, and decanted - I usually keep in the freezer to maintain freshness, along with my coffee etc.The packets smelt lovely when I opened them, strong and freshThey are a little pricey, but I think they are a premium product (just like their mixed nuts were).I would order again and happy to recommend

gluten-free, with a sweet, buttery-nutty flavour
This almond flour has a delicate, sweet, and nutty flavour, complemented by a creamy, nutty aroma.Ground to a fine consistency, it has a light colour, and no brown specks or traces of almond skins.I often use almond flour and ground almonds in various recipes, but my children’s favourites are Bakewell Frangipane tarts. This flour has a pleasant taste and mixes well, providing a distinct yet mild almond flavour. For a stronger taste, a drop of almond essence works perfectly.Compared to the almond flour I usually buy from the supermarket, this variety offers a better texture and a more pronounced, buttery-nutty flavour, which I prefer.Although the bags are not resealable, this isn’t a major concern, as few recipes require the entire 200g at once.Overall, this product is excellent value for money and I am happy to recommend it.

Suitable for baking and desserts
These Tropgo Ground Almonds come in two 200g packs within a resealable outer bag, which is useful to store them and use them on the go. While the individual packs aren’t resealable, you can either transfer them to an airtight container or keep the open bags inside the resealable outer bag to maintain freshness. The quality of the almonds is very good with a distinct almond aroma and nice flavour, however the product is priced at a premium. The ground almonds are pure, with no preservatives or additives, making them perfect for baking and using in Indian sweet dishes or other desserts.

Good quality ground almonds
I use ground almonds as an ingredient in cooking and baking and I usually just buy whichever pack is on offer. These Tropgo ground almonds are described as premium almonds, to justify the premium price, and they do smell stronger and have more flavour than my usual cheap packs. Whether they are worth paying five times more, remains to be seen. You get two 200g packs of ground almonds in a resealable outer bag. The individual packs are not resealable so you either have to decant them into an airtight container or put the open bag inside the resealable outer bag.I can’t fault the quality of the almonds so I would consider changing my buying habits in future.
