The beauty is in the adaptability of this thing!
It’s great to start to see more and more products pop up that have built in solar panels to recharge them as an option. This is definitely one of those very well thought out products that utilizes the solar panel in a very clever way. And it is very handy that you can also charge it with a cord and plug if you need some quick power to take it with you somewhere.Honestly, I was very curious as to how the whole solar panel part of the fan would actually function and how it would let you know that it was doing what it was supposed to be doing. I have been pleasantly surprised that the battery indicator lights that would light up when the fan is plugged in to charge ALSO light up when you are using the solar panel to charge it! And the best part is that you don’t have to do anything to see those lights, they just automatically come on to let you know where the charge is currently at on the battery regardless of whether you are using the solar panel or the plug. It’s also a great little device because of how versatile it is with everything else. The fan itself is very quiet and works perfectly. I haven’t tested it to the extremes yet as far as how long the battery life lasts, but I’ve used it for enough time that I would think the battery would have considerably gone down and it didn’t even show a change in the battery lights. It’s quite impressive. The biggest downside I have found…well, there are actually two…but as far as camping and using it as a lantern, you would probably be better off getting a different lantern that was separate. That’s not to say that the lights don’t work just fine, they just aren’t very bright, even at the brightest setting. Now, that would be perfect for setting up in a tent where you don’t NEED a lot of light in the pitch black of night, but if you need some hefty lighting, this is not going to do it for you…just a warning. The other thing, and I’m not entirely sure what causes this, but there’s a metal plate on one side of the hinge that I’m assuming is some sort of heat-sink type plate…but that little sucker gets insanely hot. I burned my finger not realizing that it was heated up when I just was grabbing it with both hands from the sides. So my advice would be to not put this in a tightly enclosed area (like a duffle bag or the like) where it can possibly catch other items on fire. Make sure it always has space around it and whatever is next to it so you avoid anything accidentally making contact with that plate.Aside from that, it really is an awesome little device that I think would come in super handy, especially for those that like to backpack, or just do a lot of camping where they would possibly need some air flow.

Unique rechargeable camp fan/light with dual charging capabilities
This is a somewhat unique rechargeable camp fan/light in that, in addition to charging via USB-C, it can also be charged with a built-in solar panel. The panel also doubles as part of the stand for the camp fan/light. I fully charged the fan/light using the USB-C cable and then turned on the fan and light to their maximum speeds and brightness, respectively. The fan/light operated for 4 hours but the fan speed would automatically step down to a lower fan speed about every hour. Perhaps this is a built-in battery saving feature? For my test, I manually bumped the fan speed back up to 100% every time it dropped, i.e., the user can turn the speed back up to 100%. I also tried the solar charging option. The fan/light reached a 50% charge from noon until 1800 PDT (i.e., 6 hours). The fan/light has charge/discharge status lights, and the fan speed is also shown with the same 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% indicator lights.PROS• Rechargeable camp fan/light with four fan settings and three LED (light emitting diode) light settings.• Dual charging via USB-C cable or built-in solar panel.• Serves as an alternative power source for other equipment.• Solar panel angles out to make the fan/light more stable but folds against fan/light for packing.• On warm, sunny days, the solar panel can charge and still provide a stable prop for the fan while the fan is in use.• Provided with one of the more robust and longer USB-C cables I have seen.CONS• A little noisy at the highest fan speed.• After about 1 hour at 100%, the fan speed automatically starts stepping down from 100% in 25% increments (?) as the fan continues to run but can be manually returned to 100% by pushing the fan button.• The camp fan/light might be a little heavy for serious backpacking but ideal for short hikes or car camping.

Great for camping
Has great battery life, would last between 10-12 hours of hi speed use. The fan was strong with very good airflow and would charge through the solar panel. Not to small almost a perfect size for a 4 person tent

Ultimate Camping Companion
This versatile device offers much more than just a cool breeze – it’s packed with features that make outdoor adventures more comfortable and convenient.First and foremost, the 10000mAh rechargeable battery is a powerhouse. It lasted throughout the entire trip without needing a recharge, even with regular use of both the fan and the LED lantern. The solar charging feature is a fantastic bonus, ensuring that I can keep the device powered up even in the great outdoors. The fan itself is impressively powerful with four different speed settings, providing customizable comfort depending on the weather. Even at the highest speed, it runs quietly, which is great for maintaining a peaceful campsite. The built-in timer function is another handy feature, allowing me to set it to turn off automatically after a set period – perfect for conserving battery life overnight.

Solar Fan/Battery pack
I really like this solar fan/light/battery pack. The Fan has 4 settings and for its size and being solar powered the fan has a lot of power. It’s not going to replace a box fan, but it is a nice fan for its size. The lights have 3 setting Low, Med, High and having lights is a nice feature. There is also a timer setting in which you can pick from 2,4,8hr settings. This thing will also act as a battery pack and you can charge your phone in a pinch. This fan feels like good quality and I think it will last a while. Overall, I am very happy with this solar fan.

Good
Like that it can be use to recharge my phone if needed. Aside from that, the fan speeds and wind flows are good. Solar charging is pretty slow though.
