Repair kit to overhaul SRAM guide RSC brakes and resolve brake lever slow return issue
Everything you need to fix SRAM guide piston issue and overhaul lever.It's the proper kit for sorting out the slow lever issues or non returning lever of SRAM guide rsc brakes. Includes the special tool for removing and installing the internal threaded assembly.There is a SRAM manual which can be downloaded from the SRAM website...unable to post a link to the authorised overhaul instructions from the manufacturer due to amazon guidelines...but I'm sure Google will help you find it.Took approx 30 mins to overhaul and bleed brakes. You will need a bleeding edge tool as well to bleed the caliper....these are also available to purchase on Amazon. Would post a link to the item on amazon but amazon might not allow me to do that either 🤔.Much cheaper than taking it to a bike shop.....or purchasing new brakes. Some people also upgrade the internal piston to an alloy one. The thought being that it will be less susceptible to high temperatures causing the plastic piston/piston seal to expand and cause the issues which creates the slow lever return.

No more sticky brake
This pack of parts for the SRAM Code RSC brake lever is excellent. For replacing the mark 1 internals this set of mark 2 parts includes a new piston assembly, a new coupler and sleeve, a new SwingLink with new bushes and pivot pin. All redesigned to improve function and eliminate the sticking problem. Works like a charm. Front brake is now smooth with no sticking and better feel. Highly recommended.You'll need the Total Bleed Solutions Bleed Tool for SRAM Bleeding Edge S4 Guide RSC to bleed the brake. I got one for £5 from eBay.

Sticky piston syndrome fixed
If you are looking at this product you likely have sram brake levers that have poor rebound (don’t snap back quickly) or slightly draggy brakes. The little plastic or nylon piston in the cylinder swells up over time and in hot weather this can become much worse and not rebound quickly causing the calipers to drag on the rotor and poor braking in general. This kit has everything you need to replace the piston. You’ll need to do a brake bleed kit as well.
