Micro Clover Seed for Lawn UK - 100% Small Leaf White Clover No Grass - Over Seeding or New Areas - 150g Pack

Bought this a few months ago but wanted to see how it went before I reviewed. Had a bit of clover growing in my garden and when I looked into it foundcout a clover lawn is highly recommended, it suppresses many weeds and mosses, low growing so less mowing, great for pollinators. This white clover seemed to be the best to get for height and flowering. So arrived well pakaged, delivered quickly.I was going to dig over my small front garden but to be honest at the time was not feeling too well so took the easier option of raking over, scattering seed and just pushing down with my feet, didn't really have high expectations but despite weather not being great, it was back end of Feb in manchester! I looked after about 2 weeks could see little spirits, encouraged I put a bit more in places I had missed. I then turned to the back garden, I had removed by hand many dandelions and a whole bed of buttercups that was taking over my lawn! Did the same as front garden but did not think about the pigeons! Yep they ate a load but then I put it down after they had gone to bed, I could have also put a small layer of top soil, that would have been my next step! Anyway this time it grew. It is now June my lawns are looking good, mostly clover but will need another bag to fill gaps, but what I love the most, bees coming in yep great but walking the clover is the softest thing ever!! I don't want a bowling green lawn it's got to be played on, run on, get soaked from a paddling pool and still bounce back, so far it is doing all that and more! I think this seed is magnificent, if you care about the environment or you just get sick of constantly having to mow your grass look into a clover lawn, buy this seed it's better than Jack and the beanstalks magic beans!! Easy to use, rake, shake and walk over, lovely white clover flowers and as I keep saying makes life easy. Think you can guess I highly, highly recommend.

Yes, it works. I used these seeds in an area in the shade a lot of the time, getting some sun only around midday, the soil heavy clay, and they still germinated. They started germinating pretty quickly here and there, in a patchy way. And then, little by little, I guess as we moved from spring to summer and the area in question got a little more sun, more seeds germinated. Still a little patchy, which I'm not surprised about given how tricky the area is, but looking better than I expected.

I can't write a full review, as I only planted these 3 days ago. However, they are already germinating, so hoping for good things! We have 2 dogs and were looking for micro clover to fill in the patches in the grass. I have only tried the worst half of the lawn. May purchase another to spread in between the grass later on.

Using to add variety and natural patches to an old grass area that an estated agent would call a lawned area!It germinates quickly, clusters nicely, looks good. Standing up to the grass around it.

Germinates fast. I used it to make a clover/grass lawn as I have a dog and brown patches were annoying. I'd also put the wrong grass seed on the lawn previously so I tarped the whole lawn for 10 months to kill it and restarted with this micro clover and grass seed. It germinated faster than the grass, it's a lovely luscious green. I left it to grow for a while (and the grass) then mowed. It looks perfect after a mow .. so far, I'm loving it! ( Pic is nieces new pup, but I think it shows the clover after a mow nicely)

It didn't grow unfortunatly. I watered the area every day, followed the instructions but nothing has happened. Been 2/3 weeks. Save your money.

I bought 2 bags of this, with mixed results. I’d say germination rate out of both bags was about 60%. I’ve bought another bag to make up for this. Lawn was mowed short, raked, and top soiled. On the plus side, the seed that has germinated, did so in 3 days.

The media could not be loaded. Absolute game changer! Turned poor grass area into lush green lawn!!!!!
