SKIL PWR CORE 40 40V 300W Power Inverter Compatible with SKIL 40V Batteries BY8705-00/BY8708-00/BY8723C-00/BY8708C-01-PI0300C-00

I tried using this with my lawn mower battery to run my CPAP machine overnight to see if I could use it as an emergency power source. I got several hours out of it but not enough to get through the night. Can't really complain since my CPAP machine is maxed out. Most others using it for this purpose would probably get a bit more time than I did. I've only used it for that one thing but it does exactly what it says it will do so I'm quite pleased with the results.

The media could not be loaded. Skil delivers a great product with this 300 watt inverter! This allows me to quickly power up or charge devices should we lose power randomly or during a hurricane, providing me time to start up my generator, should the power be out long term. It is also a great option when you are simply away from other electricity sources (such as powering your telescope out in a field). Already having a few large 40v batteries for my Skil lawnmower and other outdoor tools, I think that this tool gives an additional and valuable use for those batteries. The built in led light bar is a great addition. There is cooling fan that periodically turns on under demanding loads (was charging my laptop through the 65 watt USB-C port, along with a 120v lamp on the electrical outlet, charging my watch, and powering an led light). I did not find the fan to be annoying or loud during the times that it kicked on. Overall, great device!

Nice to have when power goes out. Tested the unit with many different appliances, lights, TV, filling air mattress and so far the first battery still has juice. Not bad.

I have a few Skil 40v tools that came with batteries, so this has been a really neat way to supplement power and charging needs while camping.
