I bought the green mountain grill about 10 years ago and I just recently gave it a tune up of a new fan, thermal sensor and heater core very simple to replace and it works like brand new. Now that’s value for money

Just what I needed.
This thermal sensor is what I needed to get my Green Mountain Daniel Boone Grill working again. The wire insulation on my old sensor wasn’t good any more and would short out causing the temperature of the grill to fluctuate severely. The temps stay even now and we are excited to be able to use the grill again.

Short fix
The temp sensor solved my erratic heat problem, but only for a short time. I used my pellet grill twice after installing this part. I was glad to have my grill working properly again. On my third grilling, the temp was erratic again. All three grillings took place less than two weeks. Since there’s no warranty on this part, I decided to contact the manufacturer. They felt I got a bad part from aftermarket distributor. So I purchased a new temp sensor from the manufacturer. It cost $45. I will update my review after using my grill a few times to make sure the factory part solved my problem.
