Great fun summer reading for young Hockey Players ages 8-12.

If you have or know a kid who is into hockey, they will love this book. It highlights 20 of the greatest players of all time and gives a description of them, their accomplishments and the highlights. Any sporty/athletic kids would love this book.

Very good written book. Great learning about legends and stories of a sport I have no knowledge or background in. Very fascinating facts in history.

Despite the authorship being curious as in Lunar Press I dove into this book and especially enjoyed the parts about Bobby Hall and the brothers Hall and the fighter on that team Magnuson. I missed the Wayne Gretzky days as in not watching the sport then but remember that L.A. was an exception as being the southernmost city to boast a team and Stanley Cup champs at that. This book would be a great gift for a youngster who's so into the sport that s/he would like to learn its history and star players.
