Pretty but doesn’t ring well

I bought this as a gift for my mom. She loved it and said it was beautiful.

I use this for the SA Bell Ringing but the weight inside was a little light, so I replaced it with a lead fishing weight.... loud and true now.

My mother loved it it was her Mother's Day gift
