You can see the oil coming through the mud as it dries. Black heads are noticeably reduced after one application. Stings and makes your eyes water at first but it goes away once you've got it on. Once it has dried you wash it off and apply moisturiser. Skin feels fresh and soft.

I really love this mud mask. I used to use it on its own but since I have dry skin to begin with it didn't really work as well. I have since started making my own masks by mixing it with other items like aloe vera gel, face oil, rose water, matcha, camomile or colloidal oatmeal. It's so nice and comforting as part of a self care routine. But if your skin can tolerate it as it is then go for it! The packaging is not the best so u may want to transfer it into a tub and smaller containers and put rest into a refrigerator and take out as needed. It is a natural item hence no preservatives so if you are like me who is worried about bacterial count, this is one way to do it or mix it with some natural preservatives. That said, this is a great product and it works so well! You can tell that it's taking the old out in minutes and dries fairly quickly when used on its own! Some people use it for their hair but I am not that brave! :) Have fun!

So I am not sure what I was expecting. Probably not that this product comes ready to apply.It’s very dark and thick, went on easy enough. I had some help but you could do it yourself.The smell, I am not so sure about. It’s a very mineral smell. It’s very strong and even when I cleaned the bath out (shower over bath) my first bath smelled like this mud.It works well and made both my and my partners skin nice and soft.Bottom line, it smells and is messy.Something fun to do with your other half in a large hotel shower.

Ordered the mud end of March but only last night was able to use it and I had a terrible reaction. Within a minute, I felt a burning sensation all over my skin. Thank God I didn't sit in the bath any longer. It's like I had sudden sunburns. Immediately, I washed my skin with clear water but for hours my skin was red and sensitive/tender, I couldn't touch it or apply anything. This experience gave me the fright of my life! I've been using mud baths all along, never had such reaction.Now, the mud I've previously used had a very distinctive smell which for many is not pleasant, hence many refuse to use mudbaths. Well, this mud doesn't smell of anything at all, which tells me it isn't mud....but what is it? What is this company selling?? And what's in it that burns the skin?Amazon, what are you doing? This product shouldn't be sold !!

I have repurchased this mud several times now. It seems to help with my KP and also spots, leaves skin soft and hydrated. I warm the mud up by placing the bag in a jug of hot water. Be careful, the mud can get very hot - so test it before putting onto skin. Also put towels down as it can get quite messy, but I think it’s worth it x

Dries out really quick, but it leaves the skin soft and moisturised.

Item as described. It has to be transferred to another container, preferably a jar and a preservative should be added or it should be stored in the fridge and used up fairly quick. This is a mud and not sterile of course but quality is good

Absolutely love it! Only ordered 2 days ago and was delivered earlier today. Great packaging but the tub was abit watery and not as full as it's shown on the picture. Apart from that, a lovely buy!
