Do not waste your money to buy this product. First of all this product cracked after I opened my taligate 2 time's. The opening inside is much bigger than original. And it didn't fit properly. Plus when I opened my taligate it didn't opened slow like original, but was fast like is not there. That pc which I'm holding is what I buy, on right side is original. Now you can see a difference.

Cant put a case of water on the tail gate without braking one. Glad they come in a two pack, looks like I get to buy 2-3 packages a year

I bought this for my '21 Tacoma and it took quite awhile to finally receive it but it installs pretty easily. Like another review states, it does not let the tailgate drop slowly like the OEM ones do. It does however keep the gate from pulling off the right side socket when lifting it up to close. I use my tailgate a lot every day and I also concur that this is small piece of plastic is an example of poor engineering by Toyota. Looks like I will be buying more of these in the future. Maybe just not this brand.

I spend $21 to get a good one. But you give me the bad quality. It is very thin. The color is not like the picture you show. It looks like $11 one .

it fits perfectly but i was expecting the slow drop to work after i installed. it did not tried it with both in the package none of them worked

First one broke a few hours after installing. Second one broke two days later.
