Life of The Amazonia I Jungle Building Board Game I Puzzle & Strategy

This is such a great game, I only have two complaints: I wish there was a deluxe edition instead of having to buy all the upgrade tokens separately (beware the upgrade animal tokens, those are already included in the base game, those are only for replacement pieces) I ended up spending a ton on this game to get all the upgrades but with the fun factor in mind it was worth it. This has quickly become a game we play every game night, and I don't see it going away anytime soon. Having so many different sets of scoring cards will keep the replayability up, the order the tiles come out, building up a jungle and filling it with plant life and animals is such a fun and inviting theme, I look forward to teaching this to everyone.

I just learned this game from my son and daughter. Really Fun to play. Long time to set it up and put it away and it’s better to have a knowledgeable person show you how to play. Lots and lots of rules but so much fun it is worth it. And So many ways to win that you really can’t tell who is going to be the ultimate winner. So beautiful and fun to build your own jungle habitat and put animals and flowers in it that it doesn’t even really matter who wins!!!!

An enjoyable game that is both beautiful and strategic. Rather than deck building, it is resource building combined with trying to p!ace lands, animals and plants in a manner that maximizes their habitat (aka victory points). It does take up a lot of table space. Not difficult to learn but your brain will be put through the paces trying to choose the best plays for victory.

We love animals and had a wonderful time with this game. The artwork is stunning and the little wooden creatures are so much fun. The game shipped quickly and was well protected to keep it from damage.

This game is fun to play and came in great condition, quickly. My husband and I are enjoying this game a lot.

Game arrived in perfect condition with minimal wasted packaging. I'm so excited to finally get this on the table to play a complete game. Love all the carved animal meeples, beautiful artwork, and game mechanics. This is bag building but there's nothing bad in the bag just some tokens are better than others. It's also a bit puzzley as you put down tiles to try and maximize your points while trying to comply with the placement conditions of the meeples you have and plan to get. A good mid weight game that'll occupy a few hours.

If you like Cascadia/Quacks/Ark Nova this is worth having.
