Thick medium weight plastic, best use with tamper.
If you can get this version with the tamper, that would be best. The plastic is thick and has weight, just like the original one. Works with no issues, Set it to 3 bars max, any more they it will be too watery.

Oversize, will not slip into machine?
This item is about 1/8" to wide to slip into the machine's housing. Can't use it. Might work on some other machines that have looser tolerance, be prepared to return this guy and save your $.
