Contrary to complaints that the product is difficult to apply, it's simple to use if you follow the directions. On the side of the box are illustrations that show exactly how to open the vial, release the powder, and apply with the applicator. Also, a video on You Tube shows exactly how to do it. The results can take up to 3 months. Some complain after using the first box they saw no improvement. That's because they didn't use it long enough to know if it works for them. If after 3 months you see nothing, stop using it. I took Nutrafol vitamins for 10 months with zero improvement. I'm willing to give it three months. Also, I smell nothing and neither does my husband. I don't understand why some consumers complain it smells awful.

So, got this for my wife when she said it had great reviews. After a couple of treatments, she's found that while she is not growing a lot of new hair, she also isn't losing any, which is rather remarkable. Instructions and information in the package are very good, easy to follow. And I have noticed that her scalp is more... well, full looking, even though the growth is not there yet. I think it takes a few treatments to get there. Will update once we have more results.

I ordered this because I’d been dealing with really bad hair which is likely due to low iron and hormones. I noticed a ton of hair in my hair brush and the sink every time I would wash my hair and overall thinning of my entire hair which is scary when you naturally have thin hair and not that much to begin with.The first package you start using a vial twice a week, the entire one. You wash your hair and towel dry it, then shake up the little container, untwist the lid and screw on the applicator (make sure you keep that for all applications) there is enough to saturate your scalp and make sure to apply it in all areas.Repeat this twice a week (I do every Wednesday and Saturday for example) until they’re all gone. This box will last one month. Then you can start using only one vial per week and it will last you two months.I noticed less hair after about 2 weeks already. This stuff is legit and it’s without harmful medication.I’d highly recommend. I only took off one star for the price.

I have used this stuff on and off for the past three years. I am in my early 50's and while I am not balding I did start to notice my hair was thinning and started to notice hair loss. Every time I used this product the hair loss just seemed to stop. I can't really say if I regrew hair but the way my hair loss just seemed to abruptly stop once I started treating my scalp is undeniable. In past experience I did the full three month treatment and then did not use again until I started to notice hair loss again which usually would not be for up to a year. Just recently I started noticing some hair loss again with hair collecting in the shower drain after every shower. After just one treatment that seems to have completely stopped. Rather than go through the full treatment schedule I am thinking of just doing just one or two treatments a month as preventative.So obviously everyone is different and this may not work for everyone, and if you have severe hair loss I don't think this will significantly regrow lost hair, but if you have slowly thinning hair this can help a lot, at least it has for me.

So, I have had chronic telogen effluvium now for three years. I have tried many different shampoos, serums, etc. in the hopes that the constant shower of hair will abate but, alas - not with this one either! I had high hopes with this serum (perhaps because they mention it possibly helping with hormonally-driven hair loss). I used it twice per week for four weeks, per the instructions. I used this serum along with Rene Furterer shampoo and conditioner. My shedding has not decreased one bit over the past month. In fact, I believe it may have actually made my hair fall a little worse. The directions say after the first month, you should use the serum once per week for an additional two months. I am not willing to spend any more money on Rene Furterer products at this point. It may work for some people, but it was a definite (and expensive!) fail for me.

My hair is medium/medium and recently I've been experiencing a little extra loss of hair due to hormonal shifts (perimeno), so this was more of a preventative measure. I didn't want to dive right into minoxidil and thought this would be a good "starter" since you only need to use it 2X per week for the first month and then only 1X a week thereafter. Unfortunately, this felt more like a thickening serum than anything else. It left a filmy residue feeling in my hair, which in turn did in fact make it appear thicker, but that's not my goal. I do not like the feeling of something coating my hair strands, instead I like when the product "soaks in", if that makes sense. I can't speak to whether or not it actually stimulates hair growth after the 3 month period as stated.

I’m shocked how quickly I saw improvement with this product. After the first use, I noticed less hair on my brush and in the shower when washing my hair. After finishing the first box, I can see baby hairs growing everywhere on my temple where I felt I had hair loss . I have already purchased my second box and will continue to use weekly.
