Battery sucks!
This is a quality vacuum cleaner. Suction, style, etc. very nice, but the battery does not hold the time as described. 25 minutes is top.On top of this, I tried to contact Electrolux support to purchase another battery pack but no chance to get through. Pixie, the virtual agent wants to set up an account before even connecting to a life agent. I am very disappointed about that. For this pricy item one should get better service and a working battery.

Worst Customer Service Ever
Purchased the Electrolux Cordless Vacuum July 26. Stopped working December 6th. Spent two days on line trying to find a certified repair shop in my area. Had to drive 20+ miles to the nearest one. Got a call from the shop that they would not be able to repair it and that Electrolux would replace it but I would have to call them to set the process in motion and get the call number when I picked up the vacuum. I had to drive back out to the shop to pick up the defective vacuum in holiday traffic. I contacted the number provided as soon as I got home and was told I had to complete a form they would email me, sign it, remove the URL seal from the vacuum and affix it to the letter and provide proof of purchase from Amazon. I explained to her that my printer had died and could not print the document. I then asked if she would please mail me a hard copy of the letter for which I would pay postage and was told she couldn't do that. She did not have the ability to do that. Having worked in a Fortune 500 company for decades, if you are in an office and have a computer, you have to have a printer available to you. I pressed her on her ability to print a copy since I could not, to no avail. She went on to tell me to send it via phone....I explained to her that I was speaking to her from my home phone, a landline. I expressed my frustration at how difficult their policy was for those of us seniors who are technologically challenged. Their repair shop could testify to the make/model and defect in the unit I purchased and I would try to email a copy of the Amazon invoice to prove it was a legitimate purchase. Needless to say, I asked her to have a supervisor call me back to discuss options to resolve the matter......never got a call. This was December 18th. In the meantime, over the next hour I cobbled together the necessary documents by photographing them on my cell phone and affixing the label to the screen of my computer on the letter I needed to sign. I waited a couple of days before I contacted them again to ensure they received the documentation and was told there was a problem, something was blurred. You mean you couldn't contact me to let me know this? I asked what was the exact problem and I would provide the information. This agent couldn't tell me what the problem was. He then asked me to resend the texts to another address, which I did, TWICE. Then he asked me to send it to the original email address, which I did, TWICE more. He asked are you sure it went through and I told him it clearly indicates it was "SENT". This was December 26th. Today, December 30th I placed another follow up call to determine the status of the replacement only to be told that I would have to wait for ten days to get an update. I pressed him to find out what the status was because I've been without a vacuum for weeks and needed resolution to the matter now. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they would call back. I told the agent at this point I just want a full refund so I can go out and buy another vacuum. Forget the replacement. If I did not receive a call back from his supervisor within the hour, I would be forced to seek resolution through the courts and the Better Business Bureau. .......Still waiting for that call back. FYI, I've had Electrolux vacuums my entire adult life, but I will never buy another one after this fiasco. Dyson, here I come!

Does a good job
This vacuum has good power, i was very happy with the job it did. Then i had to empty the container. It holds more than i thought it would but having to remove the cup, then the filters, then dump, takes away any good the filtration system does. I saw puffs of dust escape into the air.I understand now why none of the videos or pictures demonstrate how to empty the debris.I wish this wasn't an issue for me because it really has good power and feels good comfortablet o use.

Great so far...
So far, I love this stick vac. This is the 4th stick vac that I've bought in 3 months. I returned the 3 that I bought prior to this Electrolux 700. It's lightweight and so easy to use. It has better suction than the other 3 I tried. Works well on small area rugs without sucking them into the roller brush. The dust bin is easy to remove and the filters also easy to remove and clean. Great vac for the price. Hopefully it will last several years.
